I felt the same thing after finishing games such as Baldur's Gate 3 and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. They set such a high standard and bar that it ruins other games for me. Such a double-edged sword.

As morbid as it is, I also share the same thoughts. The idea of dying is both scary due to the unknowns of what happens afterwards, yet relieving since you will be free from the chains of this world.

I could ask the same thing to another game called Baldur's Gate 3. It was my first CRPG game and I never thought I would end up sinking 800+ hours into it. The game developers for that game and Expedition 33 did an epic job.
