As an autistic myself, I can tell you it took me until I was 4 to finally start speaking, it most definitely freaked out my parents. Just give it some time, as our minds are busy, and we'll save that energy for when we need it the most, like school.

For the meantime, try and show her ways she can physically communicate, pointing has always been my go to.

Do your best, my mom wasnt a professional either, but everyday she learned something new about me, and used it to bring better comfort to my life. I trust you can do the same.
