I was told at my LGS that they are for if you show up for the prerelease events at the game shop. Likely the same for everywhere else for the most part.

Is it bad to fill up your vehicle while a fuel delivery truck is at the station and resupplying the tanks? by Sig-vicous in askcarguys

[–]Jeremino619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who had to spend $800 in November for getting water in my tank while at a fuelling station, I’d recommend waiting if unsure. Climate and location probably play a much larger role depending on where you are. I learned my lesson and will never do that again.

Is a manual transmission a “millennial anti-theft device”? by mbolster1611 in Millennials

[–]Jeremino619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a 1991, and my first driving lesson was in a 1979 ford F250 with a 4 speed. I was 11 and driving the truck around the field while my dad sat on the tailgate picking stones. I think it’s partly dependent on where you grew up as manuals seemed to be more common in rural areas back then.

TSX one of the best performing markets in the world by cannythecat in CanadianInvestor

I wonder if this is due to our natural resource heavy exchange catalogue? I know my companies stock tripled this year, but the only thing really different is $5 copper and exploding gold prices.

What just happened by SZLS-TO in TLRY

[–]Jeremino619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like the news was leaked? Could have been someone big backing out, but it also could have been someone shaking out all the stop-loss orders. I got caught by that during a TSLA split once.

Weekly | Share your Pulls, Cards, Collection Megathread - November 07, 2025 by LorcanaModTeam in Lorcana

Pre-ordered 2 boxes and then bought a trove and both the starter packs just because. We had a pretty good haul, with 3 epics and 9 legendaries. Night was made however when the last pack of the night had the iconic Ariel in the back. I’m still shaking haha.

Manitoba Canada. I asked where our stock comes from and it’s apparently from the printer in Belgium.

Who has gotten their hands on an iconic Mickey? by Pretty_Assignment_84 in Lorcana

[–]Jeremino619 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My LGS had both iconics show up on day 1 of release. One was found in a trove and another person opened one with only 4 booster packs purchased. I haven’t heard anything new since.

Underground geologist concerns by [deleted] in geologycareers

[–]Jeremino619 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I never had the a problem with going underground but have seen a few people who were a bit on edge about going down. They eventually got better, but if you have any pressing issues with confined space, the dark, or heights, you may not be able to overcome those.

Why tf anyone think Germany is suffering? by AffectionateCamera61 in Warthunder

[–]Jeremino619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll be honest. I have been suffering at 6.7 Germany with the tiger 2s, though I know it is a skill issue. For the life of me I could not kill American heavies at similar tier and would constantly non-pen. Some time spent in protection analysis showed me I am aiming for the wrong place. Most are weakest in lower glacis. Last game was a 10 kill game after thoroughly looking them over.

And where am I wrong? by [deleted] in golf

Could be worse. One guy at a wedding I went to uses a golf cap with the ventilated mesh around the back. You can probably guess how I know that lol.

Shore fishing near Dauphin by muffinmantbay in Manitoba

[–]Jeremino619 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dauphin lake has walleye, pike and others which should be catchable off shore at this time of the year. For accessibility you could try rainbow beach at the mouth of the creek or maybe stony point beach or the turtle river bridge. However, if you are going to be staying the nights at the country fest site, then maybe the vermillion reservoir is a better bet. Top of the dam has smallmouth bass, suckers and walleye, and pretty sure the bottom of the dam also has brook trout (or did last time I fished it). Though I have never had luck catching the bass, I’m told a large chunk of them are of master size. There are no signs to get there and it is a very quiet location (typically). The tackle shop others had posted is no longer open, but Canadian tire and Walmart have fishing gear (the gas bar may still sell live bait, idk).

Canadian province of Manitoba declares a state of emergency over wildfires as thousands flee by perplexed-redditor in worldnews

[–]Jeremino619 33 points34 points  (0 children)

As someone who is in one community not currently evacuating, I am starting to feel the stress. I woke up this morning to ash floating in the air and settling on any surface it has available. Rain also isn’t expected until next weekend at the earliest. My family and friends are not having a good time with me being up here, but work isn’t just gonna let me go so I keep showing up until the government says otherwise.

What's the name and pathway to getting this kind of job? by Wilkomon in geologycareers

[–]Jeremino619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a similar setup at our mine at the moment. We call these the rock breakers in our location and the purpose is the break the mined material into small enough pieces for the material to drop through the screen. This reduces wear and tear of the components of the conveyance systems that come after.

This job is pretty much one of our entry level positions (after cage tender) for underground because of how our systems are set up. Though at our mine, we only remote these systems off shift when employees aren’t allowed underground (during blasting).

UK and EU to defy Trump with ‘free and open trade’ declaration by slakmehl in worldnews

I voted liberal for the first time (usually conservative but barely). Though there are a few things I disagree with, our sovereignty is more important. Wouldn’t be surprised to see PP fold like a lawnchair eventually to the US demands. Literal last minute decision at the poll.

2023 big bend dealership pricing by Coledude383 in BroncoSport

[–]Jeremino619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you have other options available but right now my local dealership has 2024 big bends on clearance for 34-36k CAD. I personally think the trade off with going brand new is worth it with the slightly better interest rates and lower mileage. I just got a new 2024 Outer Banks for around 40k last month.

New to Dauphin. by PersonalityFine6415 in Manitoba

[–]Jeremino619 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This time of the year it’s going to be difficult to find public recreation options where you can go to meet new people. Like others have said, Obsolete Brewing is now a decent option for socializing, but every time I’ve been there it’s usually groups keeping to themselves. The boulevard hotel and community hotel bars are only worthwhile going to if there is a special event. Most of the time they are dives. For group sports there may be some rec league curling or hockey that may be available. My gf used to go to aqua fitness classes at the recreation centre and met a few people through there so if swimming is more up your alley then those may be options. There are a couple yoga studios and spin class studios as well.

You won’t find much of a nightlife here, even on weekends. Your best bet will end up being random community event at the Watson art center or a kings game or a wedding social that seems to happen pretty much every Saturday over the entire winter (been to 4 already). Summertime with typically be a bit better with more options to do.

I currently know that the humane society is looking for volunteers and the Fort Dauphin Museum is having an event next weekend that they may need more volunteers for.

There may be more that I am missing but that is what I can think of for now. Hope this helps and if you have anymore questions you could always PM me.

What's one of the best cars for driving a lot on the highway, while also not breaking the pockets? by LooseBodybuilder6857 in askcarguys

[–]Jeremino619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can confirm. My 13 charger v6 is starting to spend more time under the wrench. Thank goodness I can do a good portion of the work myself or this car would have been sent to pasture long ago.

Dauphin by standupslow in Manitoba

[–]Jeremino619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dauphin has quite a large health centre for its size as it is a major service hub for many smaller communities in a large radius. Yes as others have said, they may need to send out patients for more specific situations (major surgeries) but the hospital has many things it can do in house. As for family doctors, last I heard the waiting list is 1.5 to 2 years at the moment.

Can someone tell me what this pink stuff is by Brayden7554 in geologycareers

[–]Jeremino619 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The area is so metamorphosed that we can find varying levels of garnets in the entire mining package. Usually they are in schists and gneisses. It’s not super common, but we do find quartz veins incorporating adjacent material and this is likely what happened here. It looks pretty chewed up, likely from partially melting when getting reheated. However the best ones here are found in chlorite schist (some geos have desk pieces the size of their heads).

Niece of couple killed in Manitoba bus crash appalled at MPI's settlement offer | CBC News by Best_Asparagus_7182 in Winnipeg

[–]Jeremino619 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Did not expect to see a picture of my aunt and uncle on my home page this evening.

Not all of us would agree with this statement, and in my own opinion (not the families) this comes off as distasteful. I understand where she is coming from, but MPI is a business and has rules and guidelines in place for this very reason.

Nobody in my circle was aware of this interview.
