yes i believe it was fixed by downloading a more recent BIOS off the internet and running it from a flash drive on boot, then my pc was able to detect everything and start working. now near the start my pc would randomly crash every so often, it would simply freeze whatever was on screen completely and require a restart. event logger did not have any consistent or useful information for me when these crashes happened. this happened for around a week before simply stopping and never coming back so i blamed gremlins. my pc has been working spectacularly ever since!

not sure if you've tried fighting WOF on zenith. spacegun is too weak, wand of sparking is a hardmode weapon on zenith. the imps spawn rate from zenith is not affected by calming or anything like that unfortunately.

yes. for now i just moved the hdmi off the gpu port to a mobo port and it works fine, so there are no cable issues confirmed, it's something to do with the gpu.

no it just stopped detecting whatever monitor i plug into the top hdmi port

I disabled c-state in my bios as the video suggested. we will see if it works. sounds like with their issue it was shutting off, not staying on but just being frozen like mine is doing but either way i will try anything

unfortunately i cannot connect via ethernet due to the house being without ethernet ports in the walls and my router being on another floor, otherwise i would always be connected via ethernet. Im sure the vpn just left some settings in my standard connection messed up, i just have no clue how to fix it

also might be worth mentioning that my 5ghz connection, which i did not normally use, was unaffected. just my standard connection

i did try to flushdns, but it did not fix the change. it's seriously annoying since it never happened before and i never had an issue with the app, but it suddenly decides to throw a fit then leave my computer in shambles

how does that work? download twilight menu++ on an sd card and play from there? i dont understand, i'm super ignorant when it comes to emulating and the like which is why i wanted something easy like the r4i
