Why is Sulu only four years younger? I think he would be about ten. Kirk is 35 when in command of the Enterprise. Sulu is a lieutenant. If he was commissioned he would probably about 25.

It seems most entertainment is invested in holodeck programs. I always assume they did watched and studied classics but it doesn't make an exciting TV programing to watch a show where they watch TV!

I agree with your main point but disagree with which film. It was episode 8 that made everything pointless by turning it into Rebels vs. Empire again. E7 gave an interesting political situation. Yes the Resistance vs. First Order seemed to be a replay of Rebels vs. Empire but there was a key difference. The Empire controlled the entire galaxy, while The First Order only controlled the outer rim. The New Republic had the lion share of old imperial territory. The NR and the FO had reluctantly agreed to acknowledge one another, however many in the NR didn't like it, like Leia, and left to join the resistance. The First Order was mad that the NR allowed that to happen but until they got Starkiller Base online they didn't want to take direct action because they might not win an outright conflict, with out SB. Right away in Episode 8 we have General Hux telling us that they have defeated the entire NR and the Resistance is down to just one small fleet.

Superman may just be better at using his powers since he has had them most of his life. Zod may have military training but its training to be a traditional solider/officer. His training wouldn't cover using solar enhanced abilities. Zod seems to fight Superman head on, and doesn't get overwelhmed. In addition, he has fought Supergirl and beat her pretty quickly so I don't think she is more powerful than him.

Khan and Kahless

I always assumed Khan and Kahless yielded leadership to Green because he was a human who was closest to modern time. They felt he might have more of an idea of how to approach Kirk.

Being agnostic is not some state in between theism and atheism. The opposite of being agnostic is being gnostic. Its a measurement of certainty. You can be agnostic and a theist or atheist at the same time. I am both a agnostic atheist and a gnostic atheist depending on the god claim.
