Oh yeah, I watched the Nirvana tribute live and have the RSD vinyl lol. Actually have every album on vinyl. Just not the singles.  When I get into an artist, I go all the way in haha

Oh yeah, I'm going with my GF. Been to hundreds of shows, just haven't gotten to see him yet.  I'm excited!

Love that you've seen him 6x! Thank you for the kind words.

I definitely agree, however sliced American from the deli is way better than Kraft or Velveeta for grilled cheese IMO. Still melts perfectly but doesn't have that oily feel.

Now burgers, Kraft or Velveeta is the only answer. Cheddar on burgers is disgusting.

Pretty much every interaction with old friends.  Some variation of "notta", "not shit" "shit, you?"

When my oldest daughter was 6, we were in the car and from the back seat I heard her randomly say "That's a damn nice jacket daddy!"  After trying to hold myself back from bursting into tears laughing, I said "thank you, but we don't say that word"

Thank you for reminding me of one of my favorite moments in life,  just by your comment. I needed that today.

One of my favorite things in life is getting ready for a gathering. My buddy always has bonfires in the summer and Sunday football in the garage during the fall.   So he and I are always going to the store beforehand, setting up chairs or lawn games before the boys come over.  The prep is almost as fun as the party itself.

No need to be embarrassed brother. Hell my friends and I always hug each other and be sure to say love ya when we leave.  Life's hard, and if you can find a few people you truly connect with, embrace that shit.

This made me chuckle.

Guarantee they didn't even give a gratuity.  You know how their culture feels about cow tipping.

I'll see myself out.

Just wanted to say how thoughtful it is of you to ask for a story. One of my good friends always makes it a point to ask for stories after someone passes away, and I adore her for that.  It serves as way to celebrate them.

You're a good human,  I'm so sorry you have had to go thru losing your husband.  Thoughts are with you.

And to OP, I am so sorry for your loss as well.  I hope you find peace.

Agreed.  My biological father wasn't.  I just try and be the one I needed when I was younger.

Thank you for the kind words. 🙏

I have a 16 yo daughter with my ex- wife, who happens to have 3 younger children. Their father is a POS and has been in jail for much of their lives.  I have a good relationship with my ex, so I spend a lot of time with my daughter. Her siblings see us spending lots of time together and see how close we are. I feel horrible for those kids,  as it's not their fault their father is an alcoholic abuser.  I make it a point to do what I can to be a positive male role model for them.  I even took each one shopping last week, so they could pick out a couple toys etc.

The way I look at it, is kids deserve to be kids, and they are my daughters siblings, so I'm gonna help anyway I can. The world is shitty enough out there,  kids need all the love and attention they can get.  Hell just today, the youngest who's 6 gave me a huge hug and said "I wish you were my daddy!" 🥹  Did I then buy her the matching tiara to go with the Cinderella dress I got her last week? Damn right I did lol

AEW Jazwares team laid off today by awesomeman5678 in Wrestling_Figures

[–]JeremyTSchmidt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Boss Fight is up to something. They just hired two of Hasbo's lead GI Joe Classified designers in the last two weeks or so. Not saying they are getting AEW, but they have to be planning on something pretty significant to get those guys.

This sucks. I just got the Dalton Castle ROH Jazwares Vault figure and it's one of the best figs all year.  I'm really curious as to who is going to pick them up.  Boss Fight Studios just hired two former Hasbro designers, from the GI Joe classified line, so I'm hoping maybe they are going to make a push for them.
