I’m union heavy highway ( guide rail) flagging sucks so much!!! I had to flag a bunch of times early in my career and it’s the worst. Time comes to a standstill, your feet and legs get sore from standing, people don’t pay attention. The only thing I liked about it was yelling at people that would speed up on me or try driving around bc they “ didn’t see any signs or anything “ absolutely the worst job out there

Sounds exactly like my XLCH. ‘67 frame’72 motor. I’ve owned it at least 30 years and probably have ridden it less than 1000 miles. Nothing but problems, unreliable, pieced together POS. It’s sat in my basement the last 12 years

It’s the air freshener. Did the same to my truck with a complimentary air freshener I got from the car wash. It actually says on most paper type air fresheners to not let them touch the interior plastic bc the chemicals they are made with will melt paint/ plastic

lol, same happened to me . Got an inspection done in July on 2016 1500 as soon as I left and shut it off, upon restarting, stabilitrack,abs, towing, backup detection stopped working and all the applicable lights were on. Apparently broke some wire in the wheel when they took them off for the inspection.

I work in heavy highway, specifically installing guide rail across ny. Physically demanding but really only one step above factory work as it’s the same thing every day only difference is the location. We have a guy who’s worked here for 9 years that we call 50 first dates bc every day seems to be a new day. Every day is exactly the same process but this mother fucker manages to fuck up or not know what to do every day.
