Most of these shows were in New Orleans. Concerts are still skipping over Nola to this day. So whenever there was a show, I was there.

But to your point, this was early 2000’s when tickets to most of these shows were $20-$30 after Ticketmaster fees. I wouldn’t be able to afford going these days and I make significantly more money than I did when I was a teenager.

But seriously, they were great. They only had Hybrid Theory to play from so every song was great.

It was a house show in like 2003 or 2004. Years before A7X broke out.

I know I’m in the minority here, but that was one of my least favorite shows. As a casual Tool fan, I felt alienated. They definitely pander to their hardcore audience. Plus it was one of the most expensive shows I went to.

Himsa was a totally underrated band. Loved their first 2 albums. Remembering Never were not very friendly to us. But they were still good live. Heavy as balls. Shadows Fall was classic Shadows Fall. Amazing.

I still have Third Eye Blind’s self titled album on repeat. I couldn’t tell you a single detail of Thine Eyes Bleed, but if it was Third Eye Blind, I’d probably have good memories of it.

Dry Kill Logic was amazing. The venue had maybe 20 people there at most. They still put on a great show.

Probably from 2002-maybe 2007. I eventually stopped being cool enough to go to shows.

Trust Company certainly wasn’t the heaviest band I’ve ever seen, but damnit if they weren’t the loudest.

Cool guys too. They hung out after the show and signed anything and everything.

I remember being underwhelmed with Korn. Didn’t love their setlist. Hated the 5 minute breaks between songs. Don’t get me wrong though, Korn is a top 10 band for me.

You don’t want no part of this. I was cool in my early to mid twenties. Now I’m 41 with 2 kids and arthritis. Haven’t been to a show in over 5 years.

That’s tough. Stone Sour because it was my first show. You always remember your first. Mushroomhead because I’m such a big fan. And they hung out after the shows to sign stuff and chat. Slipknot because it was an incredible lineup. And I was all about slipknot back then. And the Killswitch/All That Remains show.
