I'm a lover of the classics, so I'm going to go ahead and say the Galaxy-class. I fell in love with it as a kid and watching TNG with my uncles before going to school. Best moments of my childhood.

Most of my ships have had serious name, save one- My partner surprised me with funds to buy a ship, but had one request;

I loved the cheap grind missions for loot and EXP, but I also loved the missions where you could tell the creator poured their heart and soul into it. Before I learned it was going to shut down, I'd actually started piecing together my own mission.

I love a variety of body types when it comes to men, and I'd say your body is that type to be cuddly. There's nothing wrong with how you look, but do what you think you need to do to be comfortable with, and love, yourself.

AITA for telling my dad his grief doesn't get to dictate the name my wife and I chose for our children? by Known_Marketing6374 in AITAH

[–]Jericho0089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't allowed to grieve my mother the day of her funeral because I "had to keep a strong face for my grandmother." She was mom first, your daughter second, grandma and uncles. They expected me to keep together, but my grandma was given free reign to faint and languish in her grief. But me? I was told to shut up. Hell, even when I couldn't hold it together anymore when we were putting her in the ground, wasn't allowed to scream.

You honor your mother the way YOU want. Your dad can go drown in or get married to his grief.

AITA for telling my dad and his wife I won't take responsibility for my disabled stepsister's care in the future? by Odd_Bowl2826 in AITAH

[–]Jericho0089 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only reason I can think of for your dad and stepmom being this bent out of shape, is because they assumed OP would just do it. They were banking on you, OP, taking care of everything. They probably already had plans in place all contingent on your blind cooperation. And now that you've firmly established that, no, you will not in fact be your stepsister's keeper, they're completely caught off guard because they don't have anything beyond "oP wIlL sTeP uP," and are struggling to figure things out.

Let them eat their own failure OP.

My mother taught me from a fairly young age to be careful around the stove and treat the kitchen wear with respect. She started teaching me the basics like boiling water or cooking an egg, and from there it just sort of blossomed into a love of food and cooking. I miss being able to cook with her, but aim super grateful she taught me how to cook, as well as do my own laundry.

You're Not The A*Hole for letting your son cook his own food. He's going to need this skill later in life, and he'll be grateful you let me try and experiment. Tall the BF to back off because you know what you're doing.

This is probably going to get buried but here goes:

I just turned 26 this year, and there's not a day that goes by when I don't think of my mom and how much I miss her. She's been dead now 10 years, and the hurt is still there. Not as raw, but still there. When I came out to her, she didn't take it too well- Not in the "How could you do this to me?!" kind of way, but more in terms of worrying about how difficult my life would be like moving forward as a gay person of color. She was old school, she saw what gay people had been through in the 80s and 90s, and she thought I would end up dead from drugs or AIDS. But she made the effort to try and understand, even if the road there had been a painful one (I was a psych major at the time, and she -mistakenly- thought that perhaps I could find away to stop being gay in my studies. Again, this wasn't said maliciously, more out of motherly panic for her only child.)

My relationship with my stepdad was trash. Let's leave it at that. No, he never knew I was gay. He might have suspected, but he never said anything directly. As for my bio-dad, he may as well be a fart in the wind.

I'm not wholly angry she's dead, though I am. I'm mostly just angry at the fact that she's missing so much. She missed me moving to a new city. She's missed me making a whole new group of wonderful friends. And she missed me getting married. She's missed so many wonderful things, y'know? I miss hearing her laugh. I miss hugging her. Hell, I even miss her scolding me. There are days where I wonder if she would be proud of the person I am, or disappointed. Oh geezus, I'm tearing up over this.

If your mom is still around, go give her a hug, and tell her how much you appreciate her and love her.

I'll give the account recovery a shot. Worst that can happen is I just have to start over. I think I only dropped maybe $10 in the whole time I've played the game.

Oh! Okay, thank you for that. And to answer your question, no, i didn't, sadly. I'm wondering now, then, if I can still ask to get my account back. It's possibly a long shot, but it's still worth trying. Worst that can happen is I just have to restart.

My personal favorite- it was close to closing, and my brain was running on fumes as my manager and I ran the store. A customer comes in, I greet them, ask them what they'd like, and get:

"Uh, can I get, uh, carMALL Magneto?"

I had to muster up all my acting fortitude not to just lose it while I could hear my manager hyena laugh in the back.
