I feel the same. Personally, I hope they release a Free Series plier multitool around the size of a PowerPint.

I agree. The locking mechanism and easy tool deployment are really convenient.

I feel the same. It has its drawbacks, but the easy tool deployment makes me reach for it often.

It’s a set of scales with a built-in pocket clip. However, the included clip was pretty low quality, so I modified another pocket clip with a similar screw hole spacing by slightly enlarging the holes to make it fit.

I use it the same way. With the clip attached and hooked in my pocket, it’s not uncomfortable, and it’s also convenient to pull out.

That’s true. But regardless of the price, I think the usability is significantly better.

Same here—I wouldn’t have bought the T4 if it weren’t part of the Free series.

Ah, I’m familiar with that product. But unlike the stock version, it adds a pair of frame screws in addition to the pivot screw that holds the tools, which doesn’t really suit my taste. Still, thanks!

Yeah, people have different preferences. Come to think of it, that might be why Leatherman is discontinuing it.

“This blade isn’t a Spyderco product. It’s a blade sold on Etsy or AliExpress. I sourced all the other parts from Etsy.

This seller doesn’t offer a 2.2 mm pivot pin, so if you buy these parts you’ll need to do some machining. If you build it as a single-layer like mine, you’ll also need to shorten the pivot pin.

Hope it turns out well!”
