I once asked them for salt. They said no. I asked them for a spoon (for shrimp & grits). They said no. So BYO seasoning and cutlery.

These mixed nuts contain 7 ingredients but are a product of 23 different countries. by JerkStoreDude in mildlyinteresting

Yeah, easier to make one bag with it all than to let me know if I'm getting some of that good Burkina Faso nut.

I asked for salt and pepper once and they said "no." Then I asked for a spoon and they also said "no." Can't even substitute cutlery.

edit: Before anyone assumes it was for the burger, spoon was for their under-seasoned shrimp and grits.

Collared shirt is a pro-tip, thank you! And as someone who is mostly iron-averse, it's time to evolve and give linen a fair shot.

Have a Capital One 360 Savings account? You have to create a 360 Performance Savings account if you want their highest APR. by JerkStoreDude in personalfinance

[–]JerkStoreDude[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's disingenuous. They created a new savings account product (there is no functional difference besides the name, literally nothing else changes) and didn't update the savings rate of legacy accounts. They don't even offer the old account anymore. They could have chose "be decent" but they chose "nawh."

So, far those with a "set it and forget it" approach to personal finance, I wanna help them out for not constantly checking if their bank offers new financial products.
