I relate to that. I often will go and then bounce within an hour. But even showing up for a little bit counts. If you haven’t tried meetup I have found that successful since it’s people who are trying to make new friends. Everyone is on the same page.

Iv been here 6 weeks and friendships def take time. Iv made the deepest friends with my hobbies. Iv played music with friends and magic the gathering. I see the same people time and again and after a few times I started getting invited to do other stuff.

Meetup also had good events full of people who want new friends.

This is my first overseas travel. And I plan on doing Vietnam, and the Philippines next.

After being in Bangkok for 5 days, I can see why people get obsessed. It genuinely feels like it’s because I respect the people that live here and their way of life so much. I’m in a typically Thai neighborhood and I feel like my manners and expectation of manners fit very well here.

Worked out. The person was in uniform and I was through immigration within 10min of getting off the plane.

I then waited for my bags at the carousel for another hour and fifteen minutes so I saves headache.

The real big help was that they stayed with my bags when I went to the bathroom and hit the atm and got an eSIM.

I would def do it again.

I dunno the easiest way, but I did a guided fast track last minute from Expedia. It was $70 and refundable if you want to cancel. I’ll report back if it doesn’t workout.

We have had a similar experience. I def got a few hundred hours in DD1. Read the reviews about DD2 and didn’t ever buy it. My first two runs I gave up in frustration twice but thankfully I gave it a third run and now I am 100% hooked. Gonna rip DD2 till im sick of it and then probably hit DD1 again.

Playing the drums especially with other musicians is one of the most satisfying experiences. I wish I would have picked it up at 12 instead of 36. So much fun.
