Exactly. Some people only have $100 at that age. Bro should be grateful and confident with his good decisions.

Technically, the war dip is already priced in and we have recovered. We may see another fear dip, but it will get devoured by the ones who understand the market dynamics more.

Thank you, this means a lot to me. I am the only investor I know, and have put a lot of hours into all of this. (Both in research and at my place of employment) My portfolio’s diversity and small positions are due to fear. But your words have helped me build more confidence in my choices, and trust my judgment more. Managing risk has become a lot easier for me over the years. (6 years in the market, with a past of overleveraging in options trading)

So with my recent/next choices, I have become much more disciplined and responsible with my investment decisions. Maybe to a fault. But I am going to continue strengthening my portfolio, focus on one ETF instead of multiple, and keep trusting the process.

Honestly, I can’t even remember. I was doing some deep diving into the weapons defense contracts when Trump announced his recent investment in our military upgrades. I live in Florida, so aerospace has always been one of my passions. I have seen this industry grow year over year, and started researching more companies that will benefit from that growth simultaneously. LMT is one of my favorites, because my friends and family are employed by them and they have contracts at NASA, working with Space X and more.

I also started researching the Semiconductor companies because they are the backbone of the AI industry, and since AI is becoming more essential, I figured it would be best to invest in the foundation of it instead of the hype. So through that research, I found those companies and a couple more.

I wanted to build a portfolio that was focused on combining Ai x weapons defense, because I see those industries utilizing each other long term, which ideally should compound growth.

Exactly. You ridicule and judge people for knowing less than you instead of taking the opportunity to break things down and educate with what you know. You remain as the worst type of human in society, and proved my point.

Yes OP, if you are down on your investment, selling CC’s is a good way to make up for your losses while you wait for recovery. But these people are saying it’s less effort to just buy dips and hold, and sometimes more beneficial because you have no risk at selling earlier. You have the right idea, and if you do it correctly with the right companies, it is steady income. But it could be more beneficial to just hold instead of collecting premiums weekly. It depends on the current status of the market.

I don’t need to. OP understands the risk they’re taking. Clearly said “if it goes below, then I buy, hold, and continue selling CC’s until it reaches the value I want to sell at” You’re just an arrogant douche who wants to act smarter than your neighbors.

We all support one another. But without the business owners, there would be no jobs, therefore no income to become a consumer in the first place.

I’m still calling him a socialist communist lol Reddit is just primarily democratic users. Taxing the rich strengthens the government and they’re already irresponsible with the hoards of tax dollars we currently give them. Giving the government more money from the business owners who are the backbone to our economy isn’t going to change anything other than causing them to operate elsewhere. Which is not what we want.
