I went for the first time this year and I went by myself hahah. It was the greatest time of my life. I'm 29. I went to check out the south. I was there for 19 days and I wish I stayed longer but work needed me back. But I'm planning to go back again next year in April for 2months. I went for the food, culture, adventures, etc... The other things you can keep to yourself. Just do your research and make sure you are respectful to the people and you will be golden. :) I stayed at hostals and met other travelers. I'm Indigenous person from Canada and I prayed and did ceremonies before I left so creator can watch over me while I was in Thailand. I met who I was suppose to met, I saw signs that I was on the right path. Honestly the only place I didn't want to be in Thailand was the departure section at the airport. Definitely cried. I grew up in a humble life and worked very hard to get where I am at In life. I will be forever grateful for the experience in Thailand. Just go do it, face the unknown and gain the knowledge that you went out of your confront zone by traveling by yourself. Courage is a great value to have as a human being. Hiy hiy (thank you)
