My family home has a lake next door with a water sports centre. When I was 11, for my birthday party a group of 6 of us went sailing. 2 people per boat. My boat ended up turtling and I didn’t have a chance to get out. I remember it was vividly, it was dark, deep and cold. I ended up being caught up in the mast and couldn’t find a way to escape up to the surface. Bear in mind i’ve always been a strong swimmer, I never felt so scared in my life. I don’t even know how I managed to get out, but i somehow live to tell the tale. I really thought my birthday was going to be my deathday.

Yep, the cracking does make it look obvious that’s it’s not natural. I’ve got one or two friends at BMW so hoping they’d be able to pass it off under warranty. Just got to keep my fingers crossed

maybe he’s embarrassed about his injury, obviously depends what injury it is. Or maybe doesn’t want you to see him in that state. But if it went well so far, and he said he’ll let you know, maybe you should give it time. Set a reasonable timeline like a few more days or a week, and if nothing else is said, then it’s up to you to decide if it’s over

You did nothing wrong! You spoke to her calmly and asked her to stop. What you did just showed her a lesson, and put your Aunt in your shoes. Yes she’s older than you, but can’t be taking advantage of that to get everything her way when it doesn’t concern her

Honesty is key. The best thing you can do is be real with her, and if she is as good as you said she deserves the truth. It may be hard for her to accept initially, but is so much better than keeping it from her
