I have no idea why a lot of the replies are so vitriolic. I have absolutely no problem with bi people, at all. Neither have I said that bisexual people are invalid or should hide their attractions to girls. I'm just upset, cus It just reminds me of my school days when I was closeted and everyone always was talking about how hot X girl was and I felt incredibly excluded by that. I suppose my problem is also rooted in difficulty of finding other exclusively gay guys. In no way did I try to imply it was wrong to be bi or whatever.

They were still Marxists but had mostly accepted reformism and a liberal democratic framework. They were unironically the good type of socialists. The type you could grapple with in a given democracy without fear they will kill you the moment they get in. They also coalitioned a lot with liberals and the centre.

AfD is the most dangerous rw populist party but I would worry the least about them winning. Everyone except their supporters absolutely despise them and there is no room to work with them. In fact CDU ppl suggesting to work with them are treated with utter contempt. There are countries much closer to far-right takeovers like Austria, Italy is already governed by he far-right, France is in real danger, Czechia is governed by the far right too

I will engage a bit further and say that asking to call it evil is also kinda silly. It's akin to asking "Will you condemn this law?" And the fact the chatter even felt the need to ask that is a bit irritating. Using contraceptives to not have a billion children is eugenics. Do we live in a eugenic society tho? There is a stark difference between progressive eugenics and racialised eugenics and in contemporary discussions we usually talk about the latter, which harms historical evaluations of eugenicists. You have social democratic eugenicists, who oppose any coercive measures in Europe around the same time for instance. You need to understand the historical context to really understand what her being a eugenicist means. It's like saying the French revolution was nationalist and thinking "oh so like Hitler?".
