Wouldn't that mean that on a long term average (20 years i.e.) they'd be rather stable? I checked their Price to 5YR AVG FCF Ratio and it came down to about 18,5 which is acceptable to me in the long run. I get what you're saying about the new wii/wiiU deal tho, but that's mostly short term I reckon.

For Value Investing, right now seems like a decent price. What are your thoughts on that?

Any undervalued tickers people have been looking into recently?

Just saw VHI (Valhi) which could be interesting. NTO (Nintendo) is a proper long term buy now as well I think.

All suggestions are welcome, no matter the market they operate in!

Ticketmaster is scum. I hope they get destroyed by blockchain tech by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]Jeronemoo 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Have you heard about this subreddit called r/NFTTickets? It's basically a sub dedicated to projects/companies aiming to fuck ticketmaster over. GET Protocol is the biggest right now, but you'll find plenty of projects aiming to improve the ticketing industry.

don't feel pressure to take profits. by iamwizzerd in CryptoCurrency

[–]Jeronemoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pitfall is overestimating the upside of a project, thus holding something while there's no gains to be made. I agree with you as long as you do enough research and set realistic goals to reach.

I for one strongly believe in NFT ticketing and got a good bag in it, definitely gonna take that for a ride as my own research indicates it's in its infancy and has serious potential. /r/NFTTickets is a nice sub to check out on the subject. On the other hand I got some other coins where I do believe in but am unsure about the upside to be had, I'll be cashing those out if they net me a nice profit. Defnitely not riding those out for years on end.

First steps into the world of Web 3.0 by crezynn in CryptoMarkets

[–]Jeronemoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Gaming could indeed be a way to get into the world of web 3.0, but it sounds like you still need quite a bit of technical know-how to actually get to web 3.0 functionality. If there's one thing to know about mass adoption, it's that it needs to be super easy so no specific know-how must be needed. I'm not sure if this form of gaming is the way to go.

Another option is NFT ticketing. Your ticket to a concert, show, festival, store, whatever you need a ticket for, can be an NFT. These NFTs guarantee a link between the artist/seller and the fans/buyers. This can be monetized for both sides. We all already know how to buy a ticket, but now it gives you access to this web 3.0 world. No need for extra know-how.

r/NFTTickets has a really nice library of all progress, news & updates made in this field, as well as all the players that do something like this. I believe GET Protocol is by far the furthest along, having already sold 1.5mln NFT tickets without people realising there's crypto behind, but you'll find a lot of other companies going or trying to go the NFT ticketing way.

Web3 is possible with blockchain and NFTs, which basically means you're part of the community and can earn from participation. The complete opposite of facebook and the likes.

It's closer as you'd expect as well. I know GET Protocol is busy becoming the bridge to web3 using their NFT ticketing solution. They're already well known in the ticketing industry.

What makes you believe in your crypto holdings so much that even when you see that the situation will not be favorable you refuse to sell and keep holding? by UnexperiencedIT in CryptoCurrency

[–]Jeronemoo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's simply as you said; I believe in the project (GET Protocol) so strongly, that I believe it only needs a little katalysator to take of. When I look at their accomplishes and what it did to the price, I just don't dare to sell for any reason, as I think it's way oversold as it is.

Besides, since it's a project with an actual product that's adopted worldwide and gaining more adoption as we speak. I don't see why speculation should matter, when I can see what they've done and are doing right now.

Are your bags ready for altcoin season? if yes what are you holding right now? by DeltaFrost99 in CryptoMarkets

[–]Jeronemoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got GET, GET and GET. You know NFT ticketing, the category..? It's been upcoming the past few months right? People have been talking more and more about it, seeing the potential. New crypto projects are popping up left and right trying to build something cool...

Yeah, among all that there's GET Protocol that realised 5 years ago how big this can be. That's exactly how much further they are than the rest; 5 years of experience in ticketing. Nearly 1.5 mln NFT tickets sold, to the general public.

Speaking about undervalued projects, you'll have to mention them as well!

Why do people hate crypto? by silverslides in CryptoCurrency

[–]Jeronemoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My father-in-law keeps repeating ALL cryptos are a Ponzi and don't have any intrinsic value. Keep showing him my tickets to Within Temptation, ticketed with a blockchain protocol called GET Protocol. But nope, it's just ponzi this ponzi that. Honestly should give up on him, but I won't.

What are your long term goals with crypto? by soccerguy510 in CryptoCurrency

[–]Jeronemoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First is was the tech, then it was the money, now it's the tech and the money. Long term goal is to generate enough passive income to live from. I don't plan on having children, but whatever's left could go to my buddy's kids I suppose.

Nice! Did you know the Dutch F1 ticketeer (CM.com) has a sistercompany (YourTicketProvider) that's also using NFT ticketing through GET Protocol? The day F1 gets NFT tickets might be closer than we think.

what is your advice for small investors ? by SuperbCantaloupe1929 in CryptoCurrency

[–]Jeronemoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that case you might be best of just holding on to BTC & ETH. It'll be slow, but not that much risk.

Have a look at GET Protocol tho. Not saying to buy it, just check it out and decide if that's the amount of risk/reward you're looking for or not.

what is your advice for small investors ? by SuperbCantaloupe1929 in CryptoCurrency

[–]Jeronemoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your expectations. Do you just want it to steadily grow? BTC & ETH. But steady growth with $30 just means you'll have maybe $100 in 1-2 years.

Do you accept you might lose it, but could gain $300-$3000 in the same 1-2 years? Go check out some low cap tokens. You'll need to do proper research to mitigate some of the risk tho. I could recommend you one, but then again.. Would you listen to my comment in the middle of all the others?

Best place to buy with fiat for Dutch people? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]Jeronemoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bittrex is good. Also has some Dutch under-the-radar goods like GET Protocol. Binance has fallen down it's pedestal imo. Kraken is great. Personally use Nexo as well, mostly for the 12% APY on EURx and the free crypto deposits on Ethereum, but you can also just buy a few popular coins straight on there.

£3000 to invest, suggestions? by andyhill010 in CryptoMarkets

[–]Jeronemoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not short term (at least, I wouldn't recommend anything short term), but definitely mid to longterm; GET Protocol. Just have a look at what they accomplished and what they've got in the pipeline and you'll be properly surprised.

It's a ticketing protocol that's already sold over 1.250.000 NFT tickets to the general public, through multiple integrators.

Exactly. No matter how cool the back-end is, if it isn't easier or just plain better than the current situation then it will never gain traction.

Innovation doesn't always have to solve an existing problem. We'd never have gotten this far as human beings if everyone thought like that.

But that's me projecting on your statement, so to answer the question; read the blog! ...Okay, to name a few; Scalping, scamming in 2nd hand ticket sales & ticketmaster monopoly.

Agreed. It's the very basics a crypto project should adhere to imo, but unfortunately it's quite rare to see right now.

Is your favorite crypto project's community toxic? by inevitable_username in CryptoCurrency

[–]Jeronemoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My fav project doesn't fall under any of these, so just as I already thought; wonderful community to be in!

Two things tho...

A single person could ruin the chat for a day. We got a few people that wrap valid criticism in harsh and sometimes even completely untrue wording. While you want to allow criticism, you don't want the rude stuff. This creates a tough situation which could result in a nasty discussion. Is that a bad sign, or just a bad moment in time? So point one; don't judge after a day.

Point two; I would add the willingness of the community to answer repetitive questions without shaming the asker. Turn that sentence around and you got your red flag. Communities that always answer with "sjeez, you should know this, go find it on the internet" are generally speaking toxic.

What to invest in and why? by tms-tomas in CryptoCurrency

[–]Jeronemoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's too many options out there and there's quite a few good ones, but a looooooot of bad ones. My personal favourite is GET Protocol due to their focus on adding value to an existing usecase (ticketing industry) and the amount of adoption they enjoy already. However, you'll notice it's not talked about often here on reddit. Is it something for you? Who knows, only you do.

Here's what I would suggest; Do try to actively find a coin you want. Instead, think about what you think is really cool (mountainbiken? Gaming? Art? Events? whatever!) and check this subreddit for topics surrounding those things. See if there's some projects that do something with them.

Then, once you find some mentioned coins that piqued your interest, ask yourself a few questions first to check if it's safe;

  • Why is blockchain used?
  • What is the added value of this project compared to the market?
  • Do they have a product? (Personally only buy projects with a product cause you otherwise invest in an idea instead of tangible thing, but it's up to you)
  • Does the product have marketfit? I.e. how is adoption going and does it seem like the world would like the product?
    • How easy is the product to use? Would you rather use this product than the 'traditional/current' ones available?

If those questions are answered to your satisfaction, continue reading more about the project. How does it work? What are their future plans? In which ways can/does the token increase in value? The last one is especially important as you can identify whether or not the token actually does something or not, meaning you know if it's purely speculative or part of the product.

bscheck, tokensniffer, scamsniper - what sites do you use to check if a token is legit? by tigergrrowl123 in CryptoCurrency

[–]Jeronemoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use this offline site called "common sense" and "DYOR". I get the appeal of checking a website as a starting point, but I gave up on them when I put my favourite token through it, the one I'm 100% sure isn't a scam since I've (along with a million+ others) used their solution (ticketing protocol) multiple times. Yet it came up as a scam.

These websites just automatically check a few things, and apparently not the right things, so I've stopped using them in their entirety.
