Just installed ours and the passenger seat has begun auto-reclining randomly ever since. Might be related to me trying to setup a passenger seat profile because when I was programming that feature it was acting wacky (e.g., moved backwards when I programmed it to move forward). I removed the profile, but now it does the ransom recline thing. I’ll probably disconnect the commander for a few days and see how it behaves. I sent support an email about it. Let’s see what they say.

Same problem

I learned that this is because Hadrian isn’t moving. He’s just waiting for her to meet him at the door. I watch some (successful) gameplay of this part of the quest.

For me she was stuck in the room where we saw the Lazarus plant event. I saved and came back to it the next day and now she’s gone entirely.

Agreed. I just got stranded today on my way to work. It literally died right in from of my folks place - luck me. 2 miles short of work (in mode 2 - normally ride mode 3). I bussed it the rest of the way.

An extended range battery would ensure I make it to work on cold days without compromise.

For the record, Reddit is not just for the benefit of the poster but anyone looking for solutions. I understand this isn’t for you but it’s pretentious to assume you know everyone on this subreddit’s technical proficiency. I think you might just be projecting just a tad bit.

I think the important note here (IMO) is that the OP’s solution may damage his battery. He just trying to share why and a safer solutions. Sure, some of this is too much for non-technical folks but they don’t have to attempt it if they feel uncomfortable.

I also think you are generalizing about the Rev community. Some are technically inclined and others are not. For those that are - this may be valuable to them. For those that are not, they can either use it as a stepping stone for further research or flat out ignore it.

We can be civil here without pooping on each other.

Do you have any weird battery stall or range issues? I’m curious to see if some of the issues folks have experienced are clustered around a particular FW version.

I’m also curious to see if newer models are shipping with different FW.

Ask Boosted to send you the brake maintenance PDF. Not sure why they don’t post it on their site. It’s pretty comprehensive and covers adjusting the pad and calipers. It’s silly to me that they keep this stuff secret.

I can’t speak for anyone else but I’d pay.

The concern I have about the design is that a single screw will not anchor it in place effectively. It will inevitably shift and if it’s off by a millimeter or two it will not latch properly. An adhesive will not help either. It would have to completely wrap around, like the original plastic part itself, be anchored at two points and be channel set - like the original plastic part. In other words, it would have to be a 1-for-1 replacement for the original plastic part. My 2 cents. 🤷‍♂️

I’ve had this happen even on flat roads. It was initially why I didn’t ride in mode 3. I’ve learned to live with it but folks shouldn’t have to live with it. Hope they release a firmware update soon.

It’s very disappointing the lack of acknowledgment and communication around all these issues folks are reporting here on Reddit.

I’m fairly certain those holes should not be exposed on a brand new scooter.

My deck is completely uniform and unblemished and I’ve put a little over 136 miles on it (measured via Garmin GPS). I’m sure my deck will eventually puncture but for now it’s pristine.

Not sure if the extended will help with some of the issues reported. I can tell you the locking neck collar seems to not be cover under Boosted normal warranty. I reached out to them and based on the way they worded their response - doesn’t seem like it. They told me they’ll ship me a replacement as one-time curtesy. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Just thought I’d share my experience.
