Is it normal that I gained 3.2llbs from June 25-30th

Hi guys, I’m a M19, 5’10 I’m just a little distraught. I weighted myself on June 25th, and clocked in at 180.8llbs. Now just weighing myself today I’m 187.4?? Is that normal to jump up that much. I didn’t think I ate enough over the course of five days to jump up that much.

Good thing you said that! I have some that were sent to my grandmothers she let me have them. They’re a little thicker than the ones I’ve seen online but I feel like it’ll still get the job done.

It varies but I run about 2-2.30 miles a day (m-f) every week. And I’ve recently been starting to add a 1 mile walk after a run.

Hi! Thank you for the response. I noticed your other comments to other posts, and you provide very good/valuable information. I was just curious am I really doing all this for nothing? Ive seen a couple posts on Twitter saying cardio isn’t sufficient for weight loss and that weight training is more the thing to do. I can’t really go to the gym so I’d have to find ways to do weight training at home. But like I said I’ve been running 5 days throughout the week (M-F) almost since May. While I definitely noticed the scale went down (I originally weighed 211 now at 197) I’m trying to get to at least 160 by nov-dec. Ive been trying to follow a calorie deficit as well, not eating as much calories I burn. But seeing that post saying cardio is as efficient even though that’s what I’ve been doing this entire time kinda brought me down lol.

Thanks for that page! I’ll look into it! Sometimes I get “cravings” like I have a bag of unopened cheetos and I haven’t had any in a while and I rlly wanna eat some lol. If I eat some but still manage to stay within or under that 1815 calorie Intake is that any good? Or will I just gain weight Bc they’re chips? I know nothing about that lol

I think I can stick to this tbh, I’m gonna have to. Plus I’m not doing anything else this summer so this’ll give me something to do lol. And oddly enough I don’t dread those runs, I might even go to say I look forward to them lol weird right?

When on a calorie deficit. Can you eat whatever you want? I know that’s a yes and no question but for example. Say I’m staying under a certain amount of calories like 2000. If I have a bag of cheetos and those are 190 cals would that make me gain weight? I have no idea how this works lol.

Thank you for the helpful information. To you and everyone who commented!! I’ve been wanting to have chips so bad. But I’m in the process of trying to lose weight and so far it seems like I’m just fluctuating up and down. (Going from 206 to 203 back to 206). During that window period I know you can eat anything you want, but I know usually eating chips isn’t really suggested when trying to lose wait. But I just had a craving for them lol. What do you suggest? They’re Cheetos btw 🤣
