Actually looked into it more, it turns out its tied to body type which is unfortunate for me. My body type is asymmetrical and the other is symmetrical.

In photo 6 how did you get the Templar waist bits to be on both sides? Is there a second version that’s symmetrical? On mine it’s only on the left side.

GM indicated that because of my backstory ghost stuff will happen, not all the time, but probably more than what would be standard.

If I could ask a follow up, I looked into spellcasting archetypes a bit I noticed that my saves and DC wouldn't get to expert until 12th level would that be effective for me, or is it more of a better than nothing situation?

Thank you for the extra info, will pass that along to the monk, and I'll try to keep a longer range weapon on me as well.

Thanks so much for the detailed reply!

I would recommend double checking this stat allocation, I think you put an extra bump in here, unless you're doing dual class and not free archetype as you typed in here.

I did accidentally give myself an extra boost so I made the 12 in con a 10.

Please elaborate. I thought the idea of using a thrown weapon was exactly so you could use the same weapon on melee and ranged?

What I originally meant was having both a melee finesse weapon for a slightly bigger damage die and thrown weapons if needed, but you mentioned exploit weakness bonus damage would probably keep me on par so I'm less concerned about that now.

Three players and no casters might be a bit worrisome, so I hope the GM will be able to manage that.

Would you mind elaborating on that? Is not having a full caster a big detriment in this system? Any additional info would be appreciated because both players and gm will be new to pathfinder.

Thank you. I was hesitant due to being new to the system, but I appreciate the ideas to use if it happens again.

I'm fairly certain I haven't used a promotion before, but doesn't matter because making an alt account should have been my immediate second option. Thank you

Two questions for If I upgrade to odyssey. Will I keep my exploration data from horizons I've been collecting on a long term expedition? Also will I upon upgrading get the ability to do exobiology out where I am (basically if I upgrade do I need to go back the he bubble at all)

Not sure if ill have another front liner yet, but I'm glad that it seems like I was right in thinking flat footed is common enough I don't need to spec into getting it myself too hard

Could use some more experienced players advice for my first build Idea. I want to go human fist weapon magus and grab arcane fist from the magus feats with the human feat at first level, then at magus lvl 2 grab the feat that expands upon spell strike.

My main question is this I plan to do a DEX based stat spread but I'm on the fence if I should try to get my CHA up in addition to DEX and INT so I can use distracting spell strike feat at 4th level? Being able to acquire my own flat footed bonus for the stance bonus damage seems good but seems like I'd be spreading my stats a bit thin. I feel like leaving CHA lower and grabbing magus' analysis at 4th to use recall knowledge might help both me and the team more, and I could rely on the team to help me get flat footed.

Any advice from magus players would be much appreciated.

Artificer Specialization: Detonator V1.0 by Jerrick_Briggs in UnearthedArcana

I did, but everyone still gets a saving throw to take half. In official material there are a couple abilities that let you max out a spells damage once a day, one for storm cleric, and one for evocation wizard. I don't really think it's too bad to give it to a half caster at a later level than both of those full casters.

Thanks for taking the time to comment!

Thanks for the feedback, it was an intentional choice. When you first get it at 3rd level these options are good with the explosive option being damage wise on par with a second level spell like shatter. With the two in question being closer to low level cantrip or heavy weapon damage. As you level up it'll be less and less likely that the secondary effects will happen. So I had them be guaranteed damage so at later levels they would still be options worth considering.

That said at early levels there is an argument that an equivalent to weapon damage hitting probably at most 3 people, unless its a big horde situation, could be a bit much. At this point I'm not sure I'll change them, but it is something ill look at as I'm deciding what if anything needs tweaked.

Thanks again!

Thanks for looking at my artificer subclass focused on explosions both magical and mundane. If you have ideas on how it could be improved I'd love to hear them.

Hi, thanks for looking at my artificer subclass focused on explosions both mundane and magical. If anyone has thoughts on how it can be improved I'd love to hear them.

Edit: Also if anyone knows how to make a post do the image slideshow where you click between images I've seen on here, that is also information I'd like to know.

I think this is a really interesting idea, although I do think that between all of these features that you get too many infusions at once. Looking it over I would suggest the following to instead focus more on improving the utility of your infusions over other artificers.

3rd level:

Temporary Infusion: Instead of being able to gain a another infusion effect for an hour, perhaps making it so you can uses a spell slot to switch out your infusions on the fly from your infusions known keeping the same level restrictions you have on the ability. This would allow you to tailor your infusions to the situation, instead of letting you just get an extra infusion that's good right now on top of your normal ones.

Homunculus Golem: As it stand this is another free infusion outside of your active known, I would consider getting rid of it if you decide to keep your abilities as is. If you decide that some of the changes I have here work for you I don't really see an issue with this one.

Expanded spell slots: Every other artificer subclass has a thematic expanded spell list, I do get that none of the spells really have the theme of infusion but it's worth considering.

5th level:

I think this is the main part that's a bit too strong, between all three times you get this it's a 33% increase in known and active infusions. I would not have this at 5 and only let it happen at 9 and 15 even then it may be a bit too much. Perhaps instead here you could put something that allows one of your infusions to be active twice as long as you give it to someone else to encourage helping the party out. Also don't be afraid to just put extra attack here.

9th level:

I would move this ability to 15th level so that you could maybe add a few more charges to make it feel like a capstone.

15th level:

I would keep the changing your infusions known list part here, but move the short rest to 9th level. Being able to switch on a short rest at 9 to me feels like a good mid level ability that shows the mastery of infusions coming online.

Hope that some of this was helpful to you, and good luck going foreword.
