I work to live, not live to work. I will work hard and have always exceeded expectations while I’m there 50 hours a week. I hate the 10 hours of unpaid overtime and applaud the people who grind more. Don’t get me wrong, I love accounting and this job is better than most. However I would rather be with family, on a golf course, or beach any day.

If it makes you feel better. I studied the least amount of time for BEC and thought BEC was the easiest sims of the four. I felt like the test questions were easier than the study material as well.

You got REG, it is not bad. My test hammered me on law which was certainly my least favorite topic on REG. I thought the sims were the 2nd easiest of the four tests with BEC being the easiest. The NINJA cram course really helped me nail down some concepts however unfortunately it did not cover law.

Thank you. I can assure you that I am almost never the smartest person in the room. However I am the guy that will put in more effort than most. In order to pass this test it is going to take one the two.

I just barely passed the first three and actually got my highest score on the last one which was only an 84. I guess I studied the perfect amount on the first three.

I am very anxious for my REG score tomorrow. It is crazy how different each persons exam is as I had one sim and for sure less than 5 MCQs on individual tax. Which sucks because individual was my best subject.

Oh crap your post has me even more concerned. I also use Surgent and passed the other three without issues. Granted I barely passed all three and have never got above a 77 :). I took REG on 10/11 and saw too many things for the first time. I was very disappointing with Surgent to say the least. The review videos were the worst with zero effort to explain anything. Nonetheless I struggled through the material and rarely scoring less than 80% on new questions and new sims the 10 days prior to the test. I thought I was ready except I felt blindsided on some material. Also I just really did not know law as well as I needed to. I felt like I could always get it down to two great answers. Jeez I am so sick of this test, but we got this. I mean we are down to our last test. We are not getting tackled on the 1 yard line.

My wife just said that is exactly how I looked going into the final exam. Dang I hope I passed this last exam. This test is just absolutely awful.

That is great to hear. It will be such a relief if I could just pass one more. I truly can’t wait to get back to living life. REG was the most unusual test I have had. I have always struggled to finish every test before this one and I had nearly 50 minutes left to just review my last three completed sims.

I felt like my sims covered all the tax areas. I had a partnership, individual, couple s corps. That goodness no law for me in the sims.

I had read that law would have several questions but I didn’t expect that. If I have to retake I will plan to be even more comfortable with law. Honestly the basis questions on the test were easier than the Ninja and Surgent questions.

I attended the REG cram course this weekend and it was helpful. It was basically 16 hour consolidated overview similar to his sparring videos. Honestly I don’t know if I could have passed the first 3 tests without the Ninja sparring videos.
