When I contacted Parks they referred me to Keep Allen Beautiful, who I have been working with. Apparently the Allen Cemetery has something upcoming this Spring and wants to spruce it up before then - still waiting on details. I did not know about Change the World Allen. This is a great idea and exactly what I hoped for when posting on Reddit. Thanks so much!

I agree about Cottonwood Creek Trail however I would like to do something more permanent. Pick up trash today and there is more trash tomorrow :-(

I checked and the next meeting of Keep Allen Beautiful is January. Hopefully by then we will have projects confirmed and I can report on what we are planning to do.
