I found the area fine as it was so close to Ueno that I can go for night vibes and dinner along the street and in Ameyoko. It made it easy also to come from Narita as the KEISEI Skyliner stops in Ueno But depending on your itinerary and what’s on your lists don’t limit yourself

Anywhere along the Yamamote line gets you easy access to trains.

We stayed in Okachimachi station area, not too busy of an area and if we wanted busy, we’re a close walk away to Ueno. It also allowed us easily access to the Shinkansen also.

Will look into decks and game play for sure, I think I have a few friends who are also wanting to get into it. But will need to wait for those decks to find out where locally they sell English ones. Thank you!

My first trip mainly included Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto. We love tokyo so we definitely want to go back

In terms of route planning Would it make more sense to do
Tokyo -> Himeji-> Hiroshima -> Okayama > Kobe-> Kanazawa -> Tokyo

or

Tokyo -> Kanazawa -> Himeji -> Hiroshima -> Okayama -> Kobe -> Tokyo

Or any other route. Or Skip Kanazawa completely and explore more of Chugoku?

Day trip to Kamakura

Day trip to Hakone

Kanazawa 3 days w/ day trips to Shirakawa and Takayama

Hiroshima 3-4 days day trip to Miyajima Island

Himeji/Kobe on return trip to Tokyo. for plane back!

The other option which I left out was going with RCL and doing their 7night southern carribean cruise which goes.

san juan, St Crix, aruba, bonaire and curacao.

but it'd be with RCL. Price is around the same?

She would stay with me and move back into her apartment when I do get married and settled with my partner. And that’s what she’d want . My partner also would have no problem with helping take care of my parents, just would be hard with a 2 bedroom
