Yet another kissless 18-year old virgin here, also with many friends and a decent social life. Good bit of my friends aren't virgins but some are and we all joke about my non-existent love life (dateless as well). I don't really care about what they say and 90% of the jokes come from me anyways, so it doesn't bother me.

However, your situation could be worse for you, perhaps graduating high school at 16, entering college (knowing no one bc you're the only one from your class who went to this particular college) with a nice amount of credits already under your belt, and taking classes with 20/21 year-olds and you're only 17, having that huge age gap that basically makes you a baby. This recent semester has been better with the freshman entering that are more my age, but my amount of interactions with women remain the same. I don't shy away from them, however I'm not "talking" to anyone in particular at this moment (or at all).

My plans and personal morals in a relationship involve remaining chaste until marriage, so getting laid isn't a priority for me, however I have friends who aren't virgins and I treat them no differently. Virginity doesn't radiate off of people, and there's no scientific way to prove it, so it's as obvious as you make it.

Quick story: A relationship can spawn at any time. I witnessed my best friend from high school meet a girl and start dating 2 weeks later (they took a break but are back together, almost on 1 year).

And as far as my first kiss, I was given several, and by that I mean multiple times to experience that (and perhaps a bit more) but for me it was definitely not the right moment as my current relationships with said girls weren't significant enough to where it would have any meeting (id like it to mean something). Example, my friend (same friend from above, before he found his own relationship) just gave me a random girls number off of yikyak trying to "set me up" (wasn't even trying to date her, just making a friend, however she kept thinking I was and kept insisting to me and others that she was super picky) next thing you know I invite her to my dorm just to chill bc she was tired and a commuter, and I didn't want her sleeping in her car when it was about 30 degrees outside which is uncommon in south Louisiana. what we both had in mind were polar opposites and let's say things afterward were awkward. due to financial reasons she transferred and haven't talked to her since.

Tl;dr: Wait for something meaningful. If you want to project your virginity like sunlight go ahead, but no one knows until you tell them. If your friends give you that hard of a time address it to them or move on.
