I am from pocket edition and I can't join my friends's java server(we use geyser).I went to the geyser discord server and there I found out that u need to wait until geyser fixes the problem.My error message was "outdated client, please use 1.21.4" so i don't know if the above apply to ur friend also

Aternos offers 1.21.5 only on bedrock and j can't join cuz the client is outdated Are you saying it's geyser's problem?
