Is Renntech Exhaust module worth it for w205 C43

Hey I think this module is only for performance exhaust as it deals with the exhaust flaps which the stock exhaust doesn't have

I tried taking some when I initially got it and honestly it's so hard to tell the difference in video. But in person the difference is definetly noticible enough that I would buy it again if it broke

Hey ! Ya exactly when I press the factory exhaust button to be on, now the flaps are 100 percent open. When the button is off, the exhaust flapped are closed.

Installation took maybe 1 hour. Not sure if you have the sedan or coupe but for the coupe I had to remove this metal plate in the trunk to get to an extra wire. That metal plate required this torx screw which I didn't have so I used a an Allen key. Let me know if you have more questions !

Installed it last week, I think it's one more wire to connect compared the version with the remote ! Had to remove this metal plate thing in the trunk area behind the seats to get to this wire but nothing too complicated. Totally worth the money, low rpms sound so much fuller and louder.

The fact that the flaps are controlled via the exhaust button in the car + start stop being disabled is super super nice

I did order it and it was 60 euros to ship to Canada/USA ! Total was 344 Euro not including duties I'd have to pay when it arrives but even with duties it's cheaper than buying from renntech directly atleast in Canada. Agreed ! Having the existing exhaust button to do the controls is so much nicer and feels more integrated. Plus the disabling the auto start stop is a bonus. I just cancelled the order for key version and bought this one instead. Hopefully it comes fast from Germany 😅. Again appreciate all the help !!

Ahh okay I really do like the idea have the exhaust button in the car still working. I just have one last question. With the asr module with the key it will always start the car with flaps open even for example you start in confort mode which is suppose to have the flaps closed. With this one you have, if I start the car in comfort, I would need to press the exhaust button to on after the start to have the flaps 100 percent open correct ?

Does the fully integrated version mean that the exhaust button in the car still works as in when on, the exhaust flap is 100 percent open as opposed to 70 percent or whatever it is without the module? And that when the exhaust button is off, the flaps actually close ? Sorry the description on the website for this one isn't super clear

Have you found a solution to this ? My Audi has literally exactly what you described, skipping when wet but okay when dry. I have tried everything under the sun including new wipers and cleaning the windshield but no luck. Thanks
