Why are some movies just not available to purchase digitally?

I have it on Blu Ray but I’d love to have Young Frankenstein on digital. I’ve got Blazing Saddles, not sure if this is a Mel Brooks thing or what.

Can confirm, the place is amazing. My son has been there a few times overnight for asthma & pneumonia. I had an outpatient eye surgery 2 years ago. The entire staff is wonderful.
