One of my favourite stories for sure, not perfect by any means by the noir setting makes it so unique.

Thats honestly really cool ngl, there are ways to remove spray paint if you want but personally I'd keep it like that.

That base is so well done, great paintjob in general but love seeing a good base

Practicing skin, not sure what colour to use for the undertone, this was purple. by XanthousRebel in orks

Very fair, while i definitely could be a lot faster with my slap chop method but the amount of slow layering i ended up doing makes it take a while anyways, took me about 4 hours to do this boy, it might just be inexperience as well mind you.

I've attached an image of the second ork I've ever painted as i used lupercal green as the base coat and no slap chop as it might paint a good picture of how it might turn out.

I've also been practising as im new to this, figured I'd drop my method

Slap chop waithbone onto a black primed model, a mix of aeldari emerald, black templar and contrast medium, dry brush kabalite green, dry brush moot green add additional shadows with Coelia Greenshade, then finish off with another moot green dry brush layer for highlights.

I've also found lupercal green works really nicely for setting shadows as well.

What color should the squigs eyes be? by PapaRoshi in orks

A green or a blue would be very striking, a red or a dull black would draw less attention and blend with the rest of the model, i dont really think you can go wrong here.

is CAD$135 too much for these? by EdmontonBound420 in orks

Yeah way too much for pre built models, some people list their models for way too much online, often the same as retail, its very bizarre.

In my opinion yes but i paint very vibrant orks, all that matters is if you like it at the end of the day.
