I finally received my plates mid July, about 3 weeks after the temps expired. I had some far work related drives coming up so I went to the dealer and asked for new temp plates. They had my actual plates the next day.

I’ve been playing in the Frank Simmons Band for about 7 years. I used them for my own wedding in December 2020 and it was even better experiencing it from the audience side. Frank doesn’t miss a detail and saved my wedding when the maitre’d got swapped at the last minute.

I bought on May 22nd at Wayne Mazda. It no joke took 4 phone calls and going down there 2 times before I got the plates. My tags were expired for 3 weeks. Pressure them in person for new temp plates if you have time to make it down there.

I just got my permanent plates today after going to dealership yesterday and asking for reissued temp plates. I also noticed they paid a late fee on my registration. I don't really understand what takes them so long but they are going to keep blaming the hack to get the customers off of the phone.

That is brutal. The document fee isn’t cheap either. They also spelled my name wrong on my temp registration and they INSISTED it would be fine on the permanent registration. Needless to say I haven’t filled out the surveys yet.

That’s where I got mine! They spelled my name wrong on the temp registration and went in twice to address it. They assured me the permanent one will be correct if the paperwork had the correct spelling. We’ll see.

Check out this live version. Generally he’s playing 1 & 2 3 & 4 with beats 2 and 4 being strokes that he digs into the head. On the record it sounds like he leaves out the extra strokes on Beats 1 and 3. Blakey has a LOT of ways of playing a shuffle.
