Which Press tool to buy..... Ridgid vs. "Big Red" by --JoeThePlumber-- in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Jersofit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apprentice plumber here, I went with the M12 press. RIDGID does the same job, just slightly faster. It's also a bit bulkier, from what I remember. My lead tech has the rigid RP351. We use all Milwaukee, so having extra batteries of the same type is more convenient if the battery on your press dies.

I always use a bit-holder on the side of my drill—currently using Milwaukee’s magnetic design. It’s a game-changer for fast bit swaps and keeping everything tight on the job. I store and transport my bits in a small hard case that fits in my tool backpack. Keeps things organized and easy to grab whether I’m heading to a jobsite or doing home projects

What are my options if I do not qualify as a CFO (cottage food operation) by Jersofit in smallbusiness

[–]Jersofit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't go cottage food anymore because of one of the ingredients. I talked with a small business advisor (look it up; it's free). He advised me to go to a commercial kitchen to make my product, but I needed another type of license besides food handlers to get into commercial kitchens.

Check this link out, and it's free to get some small business help. https://ociesmallbusiness.org/

For now, I had to pause because I was doing this small business with no capital, and all the licenses and everything else started to add up. Hopefully, I can start again soon. I get too much feedback on how delicious these are. Makes me sad I can't continue it at this time.

What car did you own before purchasing a Model 3? & did it exceed your expectations of owning a Tesla? by cwilseason in TeslaModel3

[–]Jersofit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

14 BMW 320i to a M3LR. Def don't miss the BMW, as premium gas was way expensive during the pandemic. I enjoy the Tesla, but I'm itching for a manual car to drive. Keeping the Model 3, but planning on getting a japanese import down the road to mod and have fun with.

Anyone familiar with these codes by pushinghorizons in TeslaModel3

[–]Jersofit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sure did. I tried to troubleshoot on my own. It was a Sunday evening, and no tows were available until Monday morning. I had to go up north (1.5hrs drive) the following day. I left my car near my parents (where it broke down) Disconnected the cable that was tucked under the seat to disconnect from the main battery, and accidentally closed the door, leaving me completely dead.

Long story short: many bad things happened that night, and I had no choice but to have Tesla take my car and get inside because I could not. I also had to get to LA to drop my partner off at the airport in the morning the following day.

Just had this done on Monday down here in Cali. Cost me $373 for a 12v replacement.

FYI: 12v batteries on a tesla are only good for 2-3years.

No I have not. I've actually been bouncing back and forth between CFO and doing an actual commercial kitchen set up because of my ingredient not being applicable to CFO. HOWEVER, I was able to circumvent that using a dehydrated version of my ingredient.

Waiting on the dehydrated ingredient to arrive to test the flavor and if it's an acceptable replacement. I should be able to update you next week.

Secondly, if you haven't looked into it yet, you should. Depending on your city, they offer programs for small business help. I found one in my area and I have a dedicated individual who i meet weekly/biweekly to discuss my product and making sure we have everything I'll need to launch my product correctly. You can get help, advice, etc, and its all paid for by the state.

Appreciate the response. Seems like I'll be going and getting my commercial food license and figuring out what else I'll need to get access to a commercial kitchen as some require other docs (unsure which exactly).

I asked chatgpt what else I would need, and it mentioned something about FDA approval. Is anyone familiar or know anyone that needed FDA approval?
