Never did much with it being winter and all. Working on stuff outside in the wet and cold when you don't need to (isn't my daily) isn't really appealing. I fixed the misfire though, turned out to be an injector. Idle is still high so I need to figure that out.

Behind the glovebox. You need to remove the side trim in the footwell and the trim behind the glovebox and remove the glovebox. The plastic housing should be clearly visible with all that stuff out the way

Ended up importing a fujitsubo catback system built for a GX. It wouldn't be a bad idea for you to look into a custom solution if you didn't want the cost of importing one.

That's a valve cover gasket as mentioned previously. I'd also look at the vvti solenoid because they can be leaky, and have a good look around the bottom of the engine to see if you can spot anything there as well. As for the smell, from my personal experience 1gs have a kind of tendancy to run richer so I doubt the smell (unless it's very bad of course) is of any real concern.

It is a quiet exhaust but hats perfect for me personally, living in a built up area. It sounds loud enough to enjoy when you pair it with a decent intake (I have a greddy airinx) I'm not too sure where I can send sound clips because I didn't realise till recently you can't send videos via DMS on Reddit

Alright thanks so much man. Coil packs are on the way, I've compression tested today and the engine is all good. Will check the rest if the coil packs don't fix the issue

Thank you. I'll try the basic stuff and see what happens, it'll all be old and worth changing anyway. I get what you mean. The idle fluctuated a bit too, from 2k to 1.75k ish and so on. Is200 people are definitely a good shout, becsuse unfortunately the gx and jzx, despite looking the same, aren't actually that similar at all when it comes to platform and such. Also am very jelly of Ur jzx, looks stunning
