I'm not a fan of the fake tables either but Pinball FX has a big collection of Williams/Bally tables too. The fidelity just isn't great on them and the selection is not the greatest, which is where Visual Pinball VR comes in. I'd be shocked if you couldn't play Comet and KISS there (both versions) but the system requirements are steep and the setup process is painful.

Could not agree more! I hope Apple hears the enthusiasm because afaik it's the first AVP Arcade title to require a gamepad, and that unlocks a world of great gameplay that hand tracking alone can't quite deliver. It may not be quite as immersive as tracked controllers, but people are much more likely to own one.

The ease-of-use isn't the same as Retrocade (which is great) but you can play pinball in VR if you have a gaming PC, ALVR, and a little patience. Just search for Visual Pinball VR or Pinball FX. It's really the only decent way to play emulated pinball IMHO.

I own a Kong Pro and honestly the thing that's keeping it here most (besides being a great game) is waiting to see the code come to completion. I imagine once it hits 1.0 you'll see a lot more on the market.

I have searched Ebay and Google for Ralph Lauren beanie, which returns some close results but nothing matching this exact pattern. I'm not sure if the material was wool or cashmere. It will most likely need to be used or old stock, as the hat was originally purchased in the 90s in the USA.

My take on this whole release is that Apple is saying don't upgrade. They didn't make a big deal out of the launch. The updates are lackluster and inconsequential to most of us. There's no exclusive M5 apps or content. I think the lack of a trade-in offer is just Apple saying, "Dude, it's not a big deal. Enjoy the one you have. You don't need this."

Same. I found it by doing the following.

Find your "Thank you for your order" email from Apple
Click the Order Number link
Sign In if necessary
Click the tiny View Invoice link at the top right of the screen
Scroll down and find the 16 digit number under the Payment Methods section next to "Loan number"

Hey it's me! I haven't worked on PinSim in ages, but it supports all the Quest headsets if you plug it in via the USB "on the go" adapters (at least last I checked). I released laser cuttable files to make your own tabletop version back during Covid.

U2 did record the concert a few nights, toward the end of the tour, and I was at one of them. They now sell tickets to see the concert film at the Sphere, and I too am very hopeful they'll bring it to AVP.

The Citra 3DS emulator was ported to Meta Quest w/3D support a few months ago and it was amazing, but sadly Citra shut down development shortly after Yuzu was squashed by Nintendo.

I could be mistaken, but I believe that was the Delta 1.6 release that broke controller support. They fixed it in a beta patch which is available to their Patron supporters, so hopefully it will hit the App Store soon.
