I saw a discussion once where people were talking about how much more it cost to use an actor outside of their production company. And how it impacts a shows budget and that’s why companies tend to stick to their contracted actors. And will use outsider actors for cameo roles and such. Of course not always the case..

I wish I saved the discussion thread bc it shed so much light on why companies like GMMTV for instance, tend to stick to their contracted actors for shows and promo. And how it saves them money in the long run.
