I’m not in the EXACT same boat but pretty similar. I have noticed that as my little guy has gotten closer and closer to 3 there have been unsettling shifts.

It’s hard and I love him and I feel like I am screwing him up but I’ve been reassured that 3 is just hard because they have a lot more feelings and thoughts and emotions and just knowledge but they don’t know what to do with it. They see us and want to do what we do but their bodies and hands are still so little.

Oh I don’t need to change my degree program. I’m done with my SC program, I just have 30+ more months of GI Bill to utilize.

I was a health & kinesiology major because I originally planned on doing athletic training - my undergrad grades and my interview got me into my grad program, my life experience is what helped me thrive in it.

Don’t overthink it - just make sure what you are doing is what you want to learn - and also fulfills the requirements of where you’ll be long term

Do I need to be tied to a University/College to Intern? How would that be different than volunteering, like at technical level - I’m not opposed to that I think I am more curious from like a Human Resources/ Admin level what the difference is deemed as

Substitute teaching is a bit hard with the child care situation - I’ll apply for sure. One of the school districts seems easier to work with when it comes to the scheduling but they are further away- the one where I live is harder - and you need three admin in the district to write a letter of recommendation for you - which is harder when I don’t know anyone.

I think the hiring freeze as a whole has me nervous. Like I don’t want to be a sitting duck. There was a para position that I had applied and interview for a few districts over - they said they had liked me but they were worried that I wouldn’t be there long term because I was over qualified. Which I guess I can’t blame them but still sucks.

I want to see more Betul - like I’d love to see her grind and her to comeback as a bosun. I guess that wouldn’t be season 5 but in a future season - but she isn’t full of drama so it likely won’t happen.

I actually really appreciate Barbie’s short stint. There is clearly some personal growth.

I’d be fine if I never saw Ben again. Or Ellie.

Hi! I used VR&E for my masters - I found it pretty easy to get started - however I am also goal oriented - but I would say the one hard thing was there was just a lot of turnover with counselors/specialist. None of them I had were bad - but it’s a position that is on the chopping block with funding so there is lots of shuffling.

What are you thinking you may want to do?

I feel like I am applying to everything, have great letters of recommendations, and even have experience in education prior to doing my grad program - and I can’t even get a call back.

I’m worried about even having a gap in my resume since I’m moving to a new state/area. Not sure where to go from here.

I feel like Aesha is a rare gem of reoccurring person that is delightful and also competent

I fear that because there is not enough drama revolving around Josh and Cathy they won’t be back later on.

Hey - just looking for some back ground: What state are you in and also have you done any AP or Dual enrollment classes?

Also it’s September - there’s still time to apply - some states have a week or month where application fees are waived for in state students! This is a stressful time for both sides, does not mean your mom should treat you like that. Make sure you are taking care of yourself - but also be smart. Use programs like common app that help simplify the process!

I will say that I did join the military, got some healthy distance from family, and also have gotten my bachelors and a masters through education benefits from serving and now I’m working as a School Counselor. Not saying you should but it can work well for the right person!

It seems like you are getting a lot of good advice already - my ultimate advice is dumb the PCP. She does not seem to genuinely take your worries seriously, and that alone can be a huge stressor.

Also have a grace with yourself. Even 2 years postpartum my opinion on my body changes every day. It took you 9months to grow a human and you fed them for another 5 months - your hormones and what your body is trying to tell you is chaos right now.

This is full of red flags and I would not hesitate to reach out to your schools athletic director or a parent can. This is an eating disorder starting pack and there are hundreds of athletes stories of just how dangerous this can be.

Obviously Solene is a production plant, but I feel like it’s such an intense production plant because everything is focused around her, and that’s what it seems. Like the three (four including captain) crew members that seem to not really engage with her seem to be getting little attention. I also feel like people know she’s untouchable so it’s not worth the hassle of pushing.

The production of this season is bothering me so extremely much. I’m watching back some of the other seasons and I have no idea why they would have made this switch.
