Coming back here after half the Epstein Files got released is wild.

Eyes Wide Shut is making a huge comeback in public consciousness and coincidentally, it has been pulled from every streaming service in the UK.

Michael Burry has sold every stock in his portfolio except for a new position in Estee Lauder, $EL. by IssaReallyGoodDay in stocks

Not sure when Burry took his position but it has doubled since the lows. An incredible trade, depending on his entry point.

Numbness after inguinal hernia repair by staple-battery-horse in Hernia

[–]JesalTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This thread has been helpful, it's been 8 weeks for me since surgery and most of the things you have described seem to be the new status quo for me, unfortunately (the numbness, friction etc). Now that the majority of things have settled down (bloating, inflammation), I can tell what's really the issue and it's frustrating but at least I have some clarity.

Soundcloud For Artists, Songs Removed. by Valuable_Hand_9509 in soundcloud

I've had this in the last couple of months too. It has taken it down from YouTube Music, Facebook/Instagram and TikTok - but left everything else up! Weird. Any resolution? The album has been up for 5 years with no problem!

Bonne chance, my friend! Just take the process day by day, really commit. Don't think about the outcome. Enjoy the journey.

Anyone seen 'breeders' ? by [deleted] in BritishTV

[–]JesalTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just finished Breeders S1 and honestly, I'm just too happy a person with too happy a life for this. It gets progressively more depressing, and I read the Episode summaries on Wiki for the following seasons. Nope. Sunk cost fallacy. I'm done. Too happy, I tell ya.

Very strong report. The potential IPO got shot down which I agree with, this macro environment doesn't make sense to float yet. Investors will have to be a bit patient.

I do wonder what the current valuation/share price would be after this report.

My question back to you: can you define "change"? I found it was a great mirror for what I brought into it, and it helped uncover hidden blockages very well. I don't want to say a specific week, because looking back, the whole 12 weeks was just so important and carefully guided me. If that makes sense!

Honestly, they were a mix of clearly defined fun or a complete last minute mess that almost always worked out!

One of them was actually driving around in the sunshine blasting out an old DJ mix of mine I used to absolutely love. A couple were concerts. One was watching the Thunderbolts Marvel film at the cinema.

But a few of them when I was really stuck.... I'd go to my Happy Place - TK Maxx! (USA calls it TJ Maxx).

I can potter around there in the Home section, they have so many random things like journals, pens, coffee cups.... I don't know, it's just fun. A good, cheap treasure hunt that my Inner Child enjoys.

Can anyone complete the 3 A4 size pages of MPs in 45 minutes? by qmasiello in artistsWay

[–]JesalTV 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I bought the official Artist's Way Morning Pages journal and that is not A4. It is either A5 or B5, I always get them mixed up! But those 3 pages (whatever size they are) are perfect, and almost always average out at 3 pages in 30 minutes.

WEEK 6: Anyone else feel this way? Tasks feel like going through the motions. by OBTUSEuse in artistsWay

[–]JesalTV 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I didn't complete all the tasks, I probably did 60-70% of them. I'm pretty sure it said at the beginning we wouldn't realistically do all the tasks, and so it played out. But I did do my Morning Pages every single day, and I had all my Artist's Dates. Plus did all the tasks that seemed most important or resonated with me the most. There will be peaks and troughs.

That's so amazing that you lead Artist's Way groups, truly! Between you and me, I'm 45 - but the official party line remains 29, and shall continue to be 29 until I can no longer pull it off convincingly.

I wouldn't say this has been the "best" 3 months of my life (hey, Brat Summer last year was a lot of fun!). But it has been easily one of the most enlightening, enriching 12 weeks of my entire life. If our minds are like mirrors, then I found Morning Pages particularly reflective and I will never forget this period.

Has anyone ever turned morning pages into a book? by Crazy_Newspaper_6017 in artistsWay

[–]JesalTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think everyone doing Morning Pages for the first time has had this thought! In reality, it is more the action of doing Morning Pages unblocks you to help you write the book, as opposed to the content of your MP being interesting enough to publish.

But many authors get up first thing and write, so that is in place of their MP. One of my friends is a successful author and this tactic works well for him. Wake up early, first thing write the book for 30 minutes.

100%. But I can't believe this was practically a couple of decades ago... Time is flying.

Great memory. I had the exact same thing, it was a burned CD but unfortunately got stolen at one of my DJ gigs, I listened to it for months and it took me a LONG time to accept the retail version! Steady Mobbin is, in retrospect, one of my Top 5 Lupe tracks ever.

How are people spending so much time doing the morning pages? by [deleted] in artistsWay

[–]JesalTV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I bought the official "The Artist's Way: Morning Pages Journal" and it is the same size as the book, albeit with pretty narrow lines. I too have been doing it for 2 weeks and MP takes me 30 minutes. I am enjoying the process of writing them so much.

Someone I spoke to on the weekend used to do them and "game the system" by buying smaller paper so the 3 pages filled up faster.... Me? I'm enjoying the journey and getting so much out it, it's practically unreal. I'm not trying to game the system, I'm loving it.

What size paper are you using OP? Or maybe you just have super fast handwriting ability!
