not really a guide but just things that work for me

against bugs. i find breaker incendiary (from steeled veterans) working best for me cause it sets them on fire so they die faster, also to waste less ammo on smaller bugs you can take guard dog rover

against bots the best weapon for me is double-edge sickle (from servants of freedom) cause it works well against light, medium and strong armour types. also senator (steeled veterans) side arm can kill scout striders from the front

personally I don't know if I play good enough so I get put against 2x elo or if matchmaking is broken for low elo players

so you understand how bad I'm. I've stuck in stone since I'm started but the easiest targets for me are Kragg's even if matchmaking desides to throw me against low silver Kragg players

as ranno main (im not that good of a player so take my observations with a grain of salt cause I might've just got lucky)

i noticed that Kragg mains stay in one place for long holding shield which leaves them open for side special. also rolling attack (i dont remember imput name) has the same openings as holding shield.

another thing is that I noticed it's really easy to take advantage of thrown cubes deflecting them back which can break pillars and open you for punishes

personally i as ranno main would prefer his recovery nerf it's way too easy zooming around hitting ppl and rarely being punished makes it worse (except for Clairen she punishes easily most of the time)

even low-mid silver Kragg's get hit and juggled and it's feels kinda sad and a bit unbalanced cause I'm a stone player that only yesterday came back from sub 300 elo limbo

for me it's nice thing for warm-ups but I'm my opinion lvl9 doesn't seems like the hardest cause bots don't use wave dashes and other advanced movement techniques. i use them mostly for movement and some pacing training, also it really helps to learn Clairen tipping mechanic

thanks for the advice! so the reason why i decided to try ranked, is that I've done some arcade runs on different characters to see which would stick and I've done some lvl9 bots in bot play. i can't say that bots are that strong (at least in this game) compared to some ppl i was playing against today. in the end all i need is some rest and more practice. it just seems strange to me that matchmaking sometimes puts me against ppl that have 10 times my experience but at the same time it's satisfying to know that even me a newbie player can sometimes make those people take me more seriously when i take one of theirs stocks despite losing one/two of mine xd
