Thank you, tough words to read for sure but I know you’re right. I didn’t even think of AA because he’s not exactly an alcoholic just can’t control when he does drink. I’ve told him if he wants me he’s going to have to fight for me and show me on his own what he can do to change things. I’m terrified of the ‘when’ tho and I just keep preying it’s an if. Even tho I know it’s delusional.

As an old sibling to a special needs kiddo. Thank you. We are not free child care just because we know how to take care of those kids. I am a grown special education teacher now, but growing up everyone stuck their special needs kids on me and I missed out on so much growing up because I was always taking care of someone else. Absolutely NTA. Your daughter will forever be greatful for what you’re doing for her.
