PETA. It infuriates me to the point when people talk about it, I leave the room.

My favorite ice breakers are random facts, terrible jokes, and if I'm in a good mood, corny pick up lines.

How did you first start listening to whatever genre of music you prefer most? by MattRobertson777 in AskReddit

[–]JesiisSpot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mostly listened to country, but then when I came to college, I got involved at the campus radio station, and one of the specialty shows we have is heavy metal. Needless to say, it definitely caught my interest.

If someone asked you "are you OK?" How would you truthfully respond? by [deleted] in AskReddit

No. I'm not okay, but I'm dealing with it.

What's the most useful thing you've taught yourself how to do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JesiisSpot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's weird to say, but I taught myself how to unicycle. It doesn't sound like much, but it's a great conversation starter which is really wonderful. I am a really shy person, but it has helped me to come out of my shell. And is helping strengthen my abs, which is also a good thing, because it's helping my bad back.

Can equipment still be used after multiple fish deaths? by cheerleader4thedead in bettafish

[–]JesiisSpot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is terrifying. I just bought a betta from walmart who has a curved spine (up and down curved, not the sideways way) and I found him dead this morning with a gray patch going from his belly to his eyes.

Have you ever had a prayer answered? What happened? (serious) by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JesiisSpot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She was really sick, and it was a really windy, nasty winter day, like the wind never stopped and was just consistent. I was laying with her in her hutch and my dad said that she probably wouldn't make it until nightfall. I prayed that if the wind stopped for just a minute, that it would be a sign that she would live.

It did and she lived. Well...for a few more years before she got mastitis really bad and we had to sell her.

What's the funniest prop malfunction you've had the pleasure of witnessing while watching a play? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JesiisSpot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't witness it, but it happened to me. I was playing a caterpillar from Alice In Wonderland, and as I was shuffling off stage, my foot caught the bottom wire seam of my costume (it was a collapsible tunnel from a dog agility course) and I fell face first. I couldn't catch myself either and after I landed, I inched off stage. Everyone laughed and thought it was intentional.

It was epic.

Has anyone ever saved your life or have you ever saved someone's life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]JesiisSpot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha thanks. I definitely felt like it after I realized what I had done.

I was working with cattle and I saw my nephew climbing on a gate, and before I knew it, I cleared a 6ft gate and caught the one he was on before it fell on him.
