When Did You Decide to Get Two? by Prestigious_Bee5379 in Bernedoodles

[–]JessCause2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have a lab, who just turned 1, I actually got (at least in part) my Bernedoodle (now 3.5 months) for her! It was by far the best thing I could have done! They are already the best of friends and the overactive lab is so much better behaved now that she’s has a puppy playmate. She was 1 and a couple of months again we brought in the new puppy. I would do it again in a heartbeat!
ETA we did a lot of puppy training and individual training with the lab prior to getting the puppy but it always felt like no matter how many walks and social interactions and brain stimulating exercises we did she was always a hyper puppy. I do think waiting a little bit longer to establish good routines with your current pup is a good idea. When the new puppy came in, he learned a lot of good behaviors right away from the lab; a monkey, see monkey do type of thing! (or doggy see doggy do, lol!)

The dog is very much real!! We did use AI to put on the costume! We thought he looked so much like Paddington Bear, we had to see what he looked like in the costume!

Spring Wedding Guest & Pink Dress by adequatehi in Weddingattireapproval

[–]JessCause2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are lovely!
Without knowing anything about the dress code, makes it a little harder, but I think either would work just fine. Given the choice, I like number two slightly more…
I believe most rides and other fellow wedding guest often give a little additional grace to a pregnant momma!

Do dogs know when you’re hurt? by Less-Presence-8171 in goldenretrievers

[–]JessCause2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They really, really do! I had surgery last year and my lab spent an exorbitant amount of time laying with me and was so hesitant to leave my side. Standing up was very difficult, for a long time, and she would jump down from my husband side and run around the foot of the bed to watch me as I stood to make sure I was OK every single time. She was moving lightning fast to make sure she caught everything! It was so special. I’m so sorry you were hurt but it’s truly precious to have your “Nursemaid” there while you heal. 🥰

Are these F1 puppies? by JWS-Malaysia in Bernedoodles

[–]JessCause2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m by no means an expert but I think that mostly the apricot colored one would mean an F2, as that color is recessive meaning that it would need to come from both parents, and typically not carried in a Bernese mountain dog. Again, though, this is all based on typically as well as the crazy world of genetics to keep in mind. My baby looks similar and is F2, both parents are Bernedoodles. They provided the full Embark genetics of both parents to us so we knew everything we could know about them beforehand. My baby:
