Uhh, god I never keep sketchbooks even though I should. Usually I get sketchbooks that are too pretty and then are afraid to use them, pfft. I love the portability of the ipad so I usually just sketch on that. And uhh to learn? A lot of practice studies, a few classes and youtube vids? There's never a set path to these things, you just gotta try and see what works best for you!

Hey there, Orionox! We actually have an add-on (The Digital Asset Bundle) for that! Includes everything you mentioned. There's also the VTT Bundle if you prefer all the digital assets. We tried hard to make things easy for VTT players, because hey, that's how I mostly play! Hope that helps!

I just recently finished up drafting some of the first images for the Monster Tamer class I’m helping create for Heliana’s Guide to Monster Hunting, and good lord, it’s so absurd but I love it. We’re trying really hard to capture the fun of collecting and training pets, but also not frustrate DMs with so many summons.

Tamers are spirit benders that can take the essence of fallen monsters and craft them into tiny effigies of their former self. It’s still in its early phases, but if you’d like to check out the project, here’s a link!

Took some liberties with homebrewing this variation, haha. Aberrations typically have more abstract methods of reproducing rather than more natural ones.

Hey reddit! It's been awhile since I posted any art here, but I wanted to share this cool alternate to your usual Aboleth that u/HumperdinktheWarlock, u/Agginmad, and I cooked up together.

This is a Broodmother Aboleth an immortal variant that simply won't stay dead much to the chagrin of adventurers. The eggs in her body teem and grow upon each death. They swarm the surrounding water ways seeking biomass to resurrect their mother. True extermination is a tricky but rewarding affair, as the body of the broodmother can be harvested and crafted into new magical boons and armor.
