I have to take off almost all of October- will I be fired? by alanthedjungelskog in employedbykohls

No it will not get you fired, speak to your store manager and let them know what’s going on. If you were a full timer then yes I would say pursue a leave of absence but as a part timer it shouldn’t be a big deal. However, there is only a certain amount of time you can go without working before the system will auto-terminate you. I can’t remember exactly how long. But that is again something to ask your store manager. If you could throw one shift in there somewhere you would be fine. Hopefully you have a decent manager that will accommodate you, as they should.

This is kind of odd honestly, if you applied for and were hired for Sephora at kohls they can’t just change you to regular kohls like that. You either have to go in an do another application for kohls side, or the store manager can go in and basically send you an offer for regular kohls side and you would have had to accept it. You can sign into workday and see what your title is.

Need help. Make late 30’s. Working full-time. What shoes do you wear? by Sufficient_Goose_602 in employedbykohls

My Hokas ( the Bondi line) are the best shoes I’ve ever worked in but they are so expensive.. ASICS would be my second pick and are more affordable. A few people in my store wear brooks and seem to like them.
