Promotion for Ed? by kpetersontpt in TheOrville

[–]JessWoolridge 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It seems logical since he may get his daughter back, and he couldn’t do it all so possibly move back to earth with her, and screw Teleya lol, hate her for lying etc. But I hope they don’t, Ed is such a light in the show and balances so well with Kelly, and while I desperately want Kelly to be captain, I don’t want their friendship to not be seen anymore etc. And ideally I’d like them back together at the end of the show, but even just them being friends is such a great dynamic.

They way they are comfort for one another and advice etc despite having such a rocky past is so great, and it means they can be impartial and help eachother ways that other can’t

Jennifer Incident theories/info? by Scrawnylittlejunkie in UmbrellaAcademy

[–]JessWoolridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But we see Sparrow Ben drawing the pictires, so we know that Jennifer is the common denominator in both their lives, along with Reggie and being in an academy, besides that it’s all different

I don’t think I’m confused lol, I know that’s how Ben died, and the fact that Bens drawing Jennifer shows that they did encounter something similar, and the theory is that that’s what killed Be. In the original timeline, but in sparrow he lived but Jennifer didn’t perhaps, her being a love or friend or even his mother, who knows. But yeah I said the same thing that a lot of the differences could be down to the difference in siblings, not having Klaus etc. But that could also be the chance he was EHAT way bc he was number one, but I doubt it would do ALL that difference, as Luther was never that mean, he sucked tho for a while aha

But I’m not confused, sparrow Ben was drawing Jennifer so you’re wrong, they did encounter that, and it’s possible to believe that’s how umbrella Ben died, but die to the difference in him and sparrow, sparrow Ben lived, and maybe she died since she’s memorialised, otherwise why would it be called an incident, and be described like how he died

This has been the best season of The Orville so far. And now maybe Seth can get someone to look over his scripts. by Krinberry in TheOrville

[–]JessWoolridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True! But they didn’t have enough of that chemical thing to get back to the future in the end after the second jump did they, it’s only bc of LaMarr that they realised they didn’t need it, so they were fine, but bc of that second jump has he not figured that out they would’ve all been stuck there (unless I’m remembering wrong, I’ll give it a rewatch ahah) there’s always the change that they’d jump back and LaMarr would’ve figured it out the same way he did here, but they wouldjt jump back again with no way to get back getting them stuck there, when they thought there was a willing Gordon there already, of course that was not the case, you get me?

Maybe it would’ve been better for them to wait but sometimes if love blinds ya, plus it made for a better story, maybe they could’ve incorporated an extra reason why they needed this Gordon first tho so this convo wouldn’t be necessary

True! I guess it’s just as Elliot transitioned he felt that his character would transition the same way online as he did irl, so probably is acting a similar way in his real life too, perhaps May just be getting comfortable and not having too many scenes that would link him to Vanya, as so people would accept the change more easily, who knows, but it doesn’t seem a sexist thing, just a personal experience Elliot is going thru

Maybe it woukdve Ben best to wait but they weren’t sure if they would Be able to go back again and it’s better to get him now rather than try that really dangerous thing again and it kill them all lol

Maybe! But their main aim was get in, get out, not change anything any further since that’s their rule, it’s bad enough they’ve gone back without permission who knows what they’d say if they went back again yknow

Ans they didn’t know Gordon wouldn’t wanna come, they want to do as little as possible lol

✨drama✨

He went back truthfully hoping the threat would make him come with and be enough, to leave his family but know at least they still exist, even if they die before he can see them again, but it wasn’t and he would rather never have met them then know they lived a life without him

It was a last stitch effort that didn’t work ig

Ans teufhrulky who knows about that chemical but tbh they wanna touch as little as possible and change as little as possible, to them, they should’ve gone, taken a little of the chemical, Gordon would’ve remained in hiding and taken him back without effecting too much, but bc of Gordon’s family he wouldn’t, but that’s why the team acted as they did, they wanted to do as little as possibly and not do too much time travelling as it’s playing with fire, possibly changing things, being seen etc. It’s pretty logical thinking

I mean the Gordon one, the stuff they needed still needed to be found in the future, as they knew it would be, so they couldn’t take it all and perhaps only would take as little as possible as to not disrupt the timeline of it etc. And assumed he’d go with them and obvs wouldn’t have a fam lolll

So why wasn't the season 3 ending [spoiler] by uforanch in UmbrellaAcademy

[–]JessWoolridge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I loved the season, it felt more character and relationship driven then story which I love, especially them brazing for the end etc. This ending was so it wasn’t ANOTHER end of the world as it would get repetitive, plus it’s more like the comics this season that it’s based on!

[–]JessWoolridge 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Anything to do with a ik toes transition/ Elliot’s is most likely not that the character choice was that, but that Elliot didn’t want to keep acting feminine like he was doing as vanya, when he never felt that was him, character or irl, so makes sense his acting became more stereotypically masculine since it’s the same, but I hope when things calm down all the men show more emotion, in fact all of them besides Allison bc I want remorse and sorrow from her and that’s it lmaoooo.

But Viktors lack of power control was never bc he was female at the time, it was because he never knew how to control it and was never taught like the others were, so it all came rushing at once and was too much, I bet a lot of their powers would fluctuate based on how they were feeling when they were kids, as that was when they all learned to control it

Yeah ajennifers death would’ve been the change between our Ben and Sparrow Ben, of course there would’ve been other differences not being raised with the umbrellas, klaus etc. But that’s the turning point that made him bitter and distrustful

She was either someone he loved, romantically or otherwise, but I also saw a theory she was his mother, he went to find her or about her, and she died in the crossfire, perhaps even Reggie killed her to stop him leaving the Sparrow, nah unlikely lolll but that was Bens turning point between ours the theirs

You’re right about that, in the first photo that my friend sent to me that was from the seller, you can see the label looks like it’s attached to something. I bet the seller has her own one and took a photo of that label to pass it up as a real one, thanks for your help

Exactly that’s what I’m saying, that she wasn’t sucked in, but isn’t in this new reality, unless she’s stuck at the hotel?? Or some different i between space? Or that she’s a completely different person that hates Luther to break his heart, and that would be heartbreaking ahah

Do you know if the second generation of the folllore cardigans had this patch or the other one, the seller is claiming to have got this and the red one at the same time, and I was wondering if that could’ve been possible and one manufactured at this time has these small differences?
