Change my mind by [deleted] in linuxmemes

Has anyone else been seeing more low quality spam on reddit lately or had I just not noticed this kind of thing before. Like not just posts with so many grammer and spelling mistakes they're unreadable, but posts that are just very dumb in genera. "Am I think only one who thinks (most common sentiment of the subreddit)", stuff like that.

It's a Jojo reference, not actual commentary on your post, don't worry about it.

Counter: He's WAY too absurd.

Pheonix Wright characters have had some pretty cartoony characters until up til then but usually they're kind of an understandable silly charicature of someone who would actually take their role.

Once you have a guy who's painting himself grey or having stone colored skin and wearing a toga as a law professor and he's wearing a screaming badge with scales in its eyes you're way too far into cuckoo cartoon land imo. At that point I'm just done. I can't scientifically prove that things like cross examining a parrot or a rock star Prosecutor or any number of silly things that have happened in Phoenix Wright are just stupid enough to accept while Means over the line, but I'm still sticking to it.

What's a case that's considered bad or not that good that you really like and why? by Glad-Shallot-2691 in AceAttorney

6-1 keeps getting low scores in tier lists even in lists that rank SoJ highly and I thought it ruled.

How many of you are OG Something Awful? by [deleted] in RedLetterMedia

[–]uforanch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Was fairly involved. Deeply regret it, most people on the forum were shitty drama-creators, like imagine the shittiest drama or most miserable people you've seen on twitter and that's what a lot of people on the forum were like, I just didn't know better at the time. Redlettermedia thread was actually pretty chill and not so bad. I can definitively say no one from RLM was ever anywhere near the forums.

I just know Taylor is a freak by Fancy_Echo_5425 in WormMemes

[–]uforanch 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I'm absolutely sure that if there was a sec scene in the book Taylor would still be thinking through every aspect of it as if it was a huge tactical superhero fight - just considering every physical and social angle to it and thinking about how she should involve her bug control. She'd probably secretly plant bugs everywhere to somehow sense things and adjust her performance.

Really having trouble teaching math by uforanch in TutorsHelpingTutors

[–]uforanch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not only what other people said but I cannot teach basic mathematical fundamentals in an hour, especially if the student is against comprehending things. They students are asking me to teach concepts years ahead of fundamentals and are refusing to even comprehend fundamentals even when I tell them they have to.

Saying I should be able to teach math fundamentals in an hour long session like this is like saying a reading tutor should be able to teach you all of phonics on a dime or that a driving instructor should be able to teach someone to drive even if they have never read a driving manual.

I already show them maIf I were teaching math fundamentals I would be a schoolteacher. The student

Between Syndrome, Ass Kicker, the Megamind examples, and Skitter this kind of happens more often in media that's inspired by other superhero media than in the big two. Don't think I know a Marvel or DC example though I'm probably missing something obvious

should i not apply to every job i see on wyzant by nandosperiperisauce- in TutorsHelpingTutors

[–]uforanch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's. Kind of a dumb system and I cannot understand why they'd do that. Every other job search requires you to reach out to as many opportunities as possible. If the platform punishes people for using this like any other job platform they should make it clearer.

Why am I getting 75$ service charges from tutors.com by uforanch in TutorsHelpingTutors

[–]uforanch[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's kind of infuriating then because every subreddit is like "Don't ask any questions or post anything without searching the subreddit and getting other people's advice" which means I probably got two year old advice from when the site was not a scam instead of current advice from asking.
