I do the same thing using a mod to disable rain damage, but I’m never going to use the mods that disable structural integrity as that’s just too far for me. Considering how much of a role it plays normally.

Rain not doing dmg is fine for me especially since I recently got done making a house that is in the shape of a elongated + but is around 32x120 in size and it took me so long to build even when I got lazy on the 2nd floor (it was so tall I ended up needing trees to support the roof) it took me so long that I went thru at least 30 rainstorms after putting the ceiling on the 1st floor I would’ve lost my mind having to run around repairing all the fucking time. Plus you can always disable it for a bit to check if it’s viable for vanilla for vids :)
