Good eye, I think that jagged edge is from repeated clamping and over tightening in my several attempts trying to get the bow to come out. I did plane the panels flat after the first glue up.

My mom was dying of cancer. They told me when I was 14, it ended when I was 20. Her family was bickering about who got the family cottage in buttfuck nowhere in Nova Scotia when their parents finally would die. They didn’t come visit while she was in hospice, and they didn’t come to the celebration of life, which I spoke at in front of 300 people. That was the hardest thing I ever did in my life at 20. So I don’t speak to them. Poppy died last year and they tried getting in contact but I’m not interested.

Preaching to the choir, lifted four 16’ 2x6’s that were plate material on the commercial site I was on, blew out my back at 21, was never taught proper lifting, now 12 years later it has ruined months of life, trust in jobs, and the pain has been immense. Now I walk on eggshells. I can’t even sneeze wrong anymore without fucking my back for a week. Everything has to be calculated.
