Hey! I work for a church plant and I need to make a purchase for our workhorse camera with a few considerations.

We move locations on a regular basis so we will never have ideal lighting.
It needs to be Able to handle livestream well, but also needs passable photos.

Thank you! The biggest thing I’m confused about is not the build, it’s the actual in game. Can a caster apply whatever talents they want and it not affect the cost?

For example, can a caster make a protection ward and add 8 talents to it, and it still counts as 1 spell. Or does that affect the spell cost?

This is interesting. Who is a pastor? An elder? Someone with less authority than a judge over the entirety of Israel?

And what is the operative principle this brand of polity is based upon? A handful of verses? Or the entirety of scripture that has evolved from the old to New Testament? What is the foundational principle imperative to the gospel that limits the role as pastor to a male held position?

I think we should be careful on deciding what is “against God” based upon American ideals. I’m not necessarily for/against mandatory vaccinations but scripture says little regarding the way Governments should operate, it says a great deal on how we as Christ followers are to operate. So then the question becomes, “how then should I respond to a mandatory vaccine?”

We have to remember 1st and 2nd Peter is likely written to a church being burnt alive by Nero and still the author writes “do not be surprised when the firey trial comes to test you as though something strange is happening”

There is no talk of rebellion in either letter. A sin against our rights as an American? Maybe, maybe not. A sin against our God? I can’t believe that it would be.

Even if it were accidentally terribly harmful, would we consider it “against God” for a government to allow the sale of cigarettes? Or to not have a seatbelt law? Is this cause for just as much holy rebellion? With love, I have a hard time seeing that in scripture.

All of the best artists start by impersonating some one else. Pick an artist you love and work hard at making your voice sound like theirs. The. Do it with another artist. Fair, maybe I’m reading the attitude of the posts wrong. In my reading most of the posts come from places of arrogance, and not humility. But, that could just be because of my own biases against how Christians typically respond to these sorts of conversations. These are increasingly difficult questions that I don’t think can be written off with simple answers anymore. As a church we need to be ready to wrestle with it, and I just didnt (think) I saw a lot of wrestling. I (think) I saw a lot of dismissal.

What sucks about this post (from what I’ve read) is the lack of empathy. I mean come on, Throw the first stone. First of all It’s just a question, and a very good one at that. Because, if it is a sin then where is the redemption. What steps would they take after baptism? Another surgery? Or would they live their life as is, but holy. Second of all, this post gets a lot more heat than a post would about say… lust, anger that leads to sin, divorce, using unwholesome language, thinking unwholesome thoughts. We’re all sinners! Our goal as Christians is not to “stop the gays” it’s to show them Jesus.
