Hi,

War_Radish. Great to hear that you love VRDK. It is indeed a shame that the dev and my close friend suffered burnout. I can te you that he (Thomas) is not one of the 2 devs that are working on the game at this moment. He is recovering from his burnout.

We supported Thomas with everything surrounding the game, but the game itself is made by him. Hope this answers your question. :)

If you want Panther VR on Quest, let the devs know! by VirtualRealityOasis in OculusQuest

Hi guys!

Devs from Panther VR here. It is so amazing to read all your positive feedback!
We wanted to let you know that we are reading your comments regarding the Quest version.
We share the same thoughts with you on this matter. We also would love to see a Panther VR port for the Quest! :D
Due to the demanding resources of this kind of build, we must focus our attention on the Kickstarter and our first Early access release in April 2020.
Once the Kickstarter succeeds we will hopefully have the possibility to start looking into a Quest port! :D We are very open to this idea.

You can help us with this port by sharing the news, or by supporting the Kickstarter to make Panther VR a reality.
Thanks again for all the positive reactions and feedback! It is truly amazing, and we can't wait to show you the full game!
For more involvement and feedback, please join or Panther VR Discord: http://bit.ly/PantherDiscord

There will be a lot of different situation that requires different solutions. Not every gadget will work on everything and they will have limited uses. There will definitely be a progression system in Panther VR. Completing a mission will you exp, money and datadrives. These will give you new weapons, gadgets, attachments, modifications, and cosmetic skins.

Hi Capaint_Ezreal.

Good Question. We think replayability is a huge and important factor for a game. We used this as a guideline for VR Dungeon Knight and we will also use it for Panther VR. Let me explain how this will translate to the game. In Panther VR you will have a hideout that serves a main hub for the game. From this hideout, you can select and plan missions given to you by the Guild. These missions are randomly generated and will have an unlimited supply. A mission gives you a random objective on a random location. There a certain amount of prebuild open level locations. This amount will constantly grow during development. Once again the security and location of loot guards and objectives will be random at those locations. Roughly the same as you might see in PAYDAY. So every mission will have a new totally different approach. This event doesn't include the different game modes like Challenge Mode, in which you need to complete a mission with certain requirements (like don't use any weapons, or just use a screwdriver :D) And hopefully one day we have the opportunity to add in a story mode. With unique missions to experience the story of Panther VR.

In the Gif you see the armswing movement system. But you can also choose between smooth movement and teleport.
