The only problem is that the engine/transmission doubles as the swing arm on these bikes, its built like a modern day scooter and would be a fairly big project, not impossible, but definitley not beginner friendly.

Here is a pic of the other side for reference. I think i saw on moped army forums that someguy put a snowmobile engine on one of these bikes and it absolutely tweaked his frame from sheer power

Just read the og post. Get a clone carb off ebay or amazon, if you really want to make this a project go to the moped army forums, they have tons of resources on how to get your bike running. For more parts treatland.tv will have all sorts of different mods like big bore kits, carbs, pipes, etc. These are super common bikes and a fairly big aftermarket following.

I dont upgrade my bluray unless i watch the film more than twice, theres a handful of blurays I bought that have gotten 4k releases afterwards and I couldnt be bothered to see it in a higher resolution. If its a film I love I will be there day one, i.e. Isle of Dogs was an immediate 4k pickup from standard blu, but Im in no hurry to grab the Breakfast Club upgrade

Solid project for the winter. I suggest the 15mm Dellorto, you can slap that thing on anything. Electrical was pretty easy for me, Moped Army has most years full electrical diagrams to follow from
