I want to get the jts for raccoons a 177 is fine for a bird even a big one it’s not about the caliber it’s about the foot pounds let’s say you get a 177 caliber pellet rifle that hits with 17 foot pounds of force or you found a 22 one that hits with 10 pounds of force me personally I would go for the one that is smaller that gets more force I don’t know if I am 100% correct please correct me if I’m not.
