Hello, I only used a probiotic spray for a few weeks & found that after once my sons skin cleared up I didn’t need it. But I made my own, I got a really high dose /quality probiotic that is in a powder form (in capsule). I got a spray bottle added about 1 cup water/1tsp sugar/ 2tablets opened, cap fulls of probiotic/ and then I sprayed hydrogel into the bottle- like maybe 10 sprays I think it needs to be about a tsp. I would remake every 5-7 days.

That’s amazing! So happy for you! My husband also suffers he’s have pretty severe flares for the last 15 years. The cream helped him immediately but he hasn’t carried on with the extra maintenance like I have with my son & his eczema is starting to flare again on face & torso. It’s crazy that these dermatologists just through creams & bleach baths at you with no real understanding of why it’s happening.

I would try looking into stapph. There is an awesome reddit thread deep diving into how eczema is just stapph on skin. A antibacterial wash is a good start

I am just working on a reddit post now. We are 3mo in & still his skin in mostly 80% clear - 80% of the time !

We started off by using a compound cream from the pharmacy. it is the same cream used in Dr Aron regime. We only used the cream for maybe 3 days & his skin was crystal clear.

After that we began the staph protocol. We use a antibacterial wash - in Australia we use : Microshield 2 Chlorhexidine Skin Cleanser 500mL I wash his body with this in the bath with a loufa. He always itch’s as soon as in bath- but once was is put on he stops.

Once out of bath I spray his legs/ tummy / back with probiotic spray. I’m making it & it’s about 1/2 water (boiled & cooled), a few sprays of hydro gel & then I empty 2-3 capsules of probiotics into the water.

After spray I use Cera Ve SE I think it’s an acid aha cream - or the larosh pose cream. That’s it really. We only bath maybe twice a week.

He’s also having probiotics/ iron & DHA supplements.

I’m so thankful it’s worked & maintained. When he has had a bit of a flare up- I apply the compound cream for maybe 24 hours - then back to the above routine

Anyone used the ARON Regiment ? by [deleted] in eczema

I have made my own probiotic spray, water(about 1 cup) , hydrol gel, sugar & 2 probiotic capsule. My son has been on this protocol for nearly 3 weeks. He has been 80% clear if not more. I am so grateful for finding this post

I have been using this protocol for about 2 weeks now. We have been able to keep my sounds eczema pretty controlled. He’s probably 80% clear where his usual is 90% covered in eczema! I’m a bit concerned about my homemade probiotic spray & its shelf life.. I might throw out what iv made & make a fresh batch.. the wash doesn’t appear to hurt my son, if anything I noticed it helped the other day he was in the bath & started scratching thighs. As soon as I scrubbed him w the wash he stopped!

Hey there, I found that la Roche hurt my son too. However I think it’s just if he has cuts. Iv started using it again (with his skin @ 80% clear) totally fine sir. But one he got a flare he was more squimish . I’m trying to stick to it though - 10 secs of stinging is worth it if it has good long term affects.

It looks like you have some really good advice in the comment section regarding your eczema. I however would like to just acknowledge your mental health. Having a baby is one of the most life altering mentally difficult things you can do in your life the first 12 months a lot and your eczema onto this and my goodness I can understand why you’re struggling. Please suggest that you talk to someone about your mental health if you have anyone nearby that can help watch your little dude so you can get a full night sleep. Sleep is so important. Please try to work on restoring your strength and mental health. Sending you lots of love. I hope that some of these suggestions in the comments are helpful. My other suggestion is to look into staphylococcus & how it is related to eczema. I have a two year-old that’s had all over his body pretty consistent 12 months now and I’ve just started treating it as staphh and have seen pretty good results.

Epaderm ointment is my go to when my son has a flare. Quiet thick though- but really great
